When we first pulled into the driveway I couldn’t believe what I saw. I was so mad at Tim I could have screamed – he said all this house needed was a little love to look great when what it seemed to need was a bulldozer in the front yard! When I got past the initial shock the panic set in: I didn’t know a thing about construction or contracting and I was expected to manage this place while he was at work all day? We got started and bit by bit I learned what I was doing. I cost us thousands by approving things I had no business approving and after that third contractor left the job without notice I learned to get a contract. Now we’re in the finishing steps – picking out paint colors and getting satellite star internet for the place and I’m really, really proud of what I’ve accomplished here. I don’t know that I’d want to do it again but at the end of the day I’m happy.

Dressing up n costumes are too much fun!

Costumes are fun regardless if its Halloween or just a normal day.  My daughter has several dress up costumes and she plays with them often.   Her current favorite is "Tangled" well actual she is a fan of anything princess right now.  I am curious as to how long her princess loving will last?  

Last year for Halloween she dressed up as Cinderella.  This year she was a beautiful unicorn and her brother was the cutest bear you could see.  :)  After Halloween was over I did my clearance shopping and I am very excited for them to wear there somewhat "matching" outfits.  :)  We will have a Superwoman and Superman!  :)  SO ADORABLE and the prices were great.  I think it is fun shopping for kids halloween costumes!  :)

New Hair Clips! :)

I finally made some time last night to sit down and bust out some  new hair clips for my daughter!  :)  She loved them! :)  YAY!!

Wordless Wednesday

Christmas day pictures! :)

We have a tradition in our house for Christmas breakfast.  We make "happy birthday" waffles that we get to decorate.  This year Selah picked pink sprinkles and white chocolate chips.  We put a candle in it and sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus!  :)

We walked outside to head to the YMCA this morning when I said, "it smells funny out here."  So my 4 year old daughter responds with, "maybe God pooped."  LOL- This cracked me up so much!   I have no idea where that thought came from but it was comical.

Best Gingerbread house ever! :)

It was fun to sit back and watch my hubby and daughter create a wonderful gingerbread house.  :)  I absolutely feel blessed as I watch my hubby be an amazing daddy.  :)

Daddy even worked on patterns with her, red red, green green!  :)

It has been a wonderful year full of so many blessings! I am one blessed women!   I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and remember the reason of the season!  

Titus is 9 months old

Any other parent feel as though the 9 month mark is a big one?  Maybe because as a mother we carry our baby in our belly for 9 months, or maybe it is shock that he will be one year in only 3 more months.  I am having that moment of sadness because my baby is growing up to quickly.  

Titus is army crawling every where and he has speed!  In the last week he finally had 2 teeth come through on his bottom gums.  The benefit of this is he has been napping better and sleeping much better at night. :)  AMEN!

Titus learned how to say mama first but lately he has been saying Dada in a happy and cooing way that is so darn adorable!

I was so excited when I was talking with a local lady who has her own bakery that she runs out of her house. I had friends bless us with buying Selah's amazing Tangled birthday cake so I  was curious how much it would cost for a Happy Birthday Jesus cake.  

So we are excited to dig in tomorrow and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus.  

Look at this awesome cake (only $15)!!!!  :)  Plus I know it already tastes awesome it is the same flavor as my daughters cake.  :)

I am experiencing some Blog issues!!  I am very frustrated with the matter but will try to get it all figured out ASAP... or as soon as my hubby has time to help.  :)

Christmas with Nana

My mother in law was here to visit so we could celebrate Christmas.  :)   We had a fun time...minus my one blonde moment where I hurt Nana by allowing the trunk to fall on her head and give her a big scrape- I FEEL TERRIBLE!!
