Do you Groupon??

Have you signed up for Groupon yet? Groupon is a deal of the day program that is offered in majority of America's cities.  I know for WI they have Madison, Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Appleton.  I dont live in those areas but I have still gotten some really great deals such as 3 redbox rental codes for the cost of one.  :)   You never know what deal they will have but you can see the deals in your email, on your phone, on twitter and facebook.  Once you purchase a groupon you print it and use it like a normal coupon.  (Redbox i just used the codes they gave me)  :)  VERY SIMPLE and lots of savings through it!  :) Click here    if you would like to sign up or see more details!  :)  I do get a bonus if you use my link!  :) Once you sign up you can invite friends and also earn a credit too for your next purchase.

Feeling much better today!

I am so thankful that Selah's fever is broken and she seems like her normal self, minus the cough and funny raspy voice.  She has been playing and even asked if we could play with shaving cream again.  So I thought lets make a snowman with the shaving cream.  :)  It was a lot of fun for both of us.  :)  She loves crafts and I love to set them up for her.  :) So yesterday this was Selah at the clinic getting a nebulizer treatment: She had a fever of 103 at this time... my poor lil munchin and... this is today doing her snowman craft.  WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I think her snowman is adorable... we are still waiting for the weather to warm up a little so we can make a real snowman outside.  :)

Photo contests

I have entered my daughter in a few photo contests just for fun.  I have no intentions of seeking a modeling career for her or anything like that but like all parents I think my Selah is one adorable little girl!  :)  I entered her in a Focus on the Family one in the fall and she was picked as a runner up and she will be in their magazine in March.  They are sending me the magazine, sent Selah a CD collection of Bible stories, and one huge parenting book.  The picture was for the category of family fun "messy fun".  I used a picture from last Easter when she was helping in the kitchen... or just eating off a spoon.  :)  It really was not a super special picture just the best one I had of her for the photo category. I have entered her in a Parents magazine contest, and a few others online.  I have not done the Cute Kid contest yet, but looking into details on it.  Has anyone entered their child in this??  I have never seen such a b...

Still praying for Selah

Well I know I mentioned in my other posts about Selah waking up with a strange cough.  She seemed normal on Sunday and when she woke up yesterday, but then she woke from her nap with a fever and we have battling it since.  So we have been praying and praying and trusting God will take care of our munchin.  She still has been saying "Jesus healed me"  which I love, but I had to explain to her that Jesus uses doctors to help us feel better too.  We went to the clinic today and she had a 103 degree fever :(  It has been up and down the rest of the day.  The strep test was negative and influenza test was negative also.  The doctor did say she had viral bronchitis and we now have a nebulizer for 2 weeks but no antibiotics but keep pushing the tylenol/ibprofen. So after her nap today I thought we would take a bath and do our medicine and neb treatment and do you know what she said, "no mommy I dont need medicine because Jesus is healing me" ...

Last years SOAP

Sometimes when I read my bible I like to SOAP (scripture, observe, application, and prayer)  It helps me get even more out of the scripture this way.  So I was rereading some of the ones I did a year ago and came across this one.  :)  It is awesome... and even more exciting because I am expecting my little boy in March.  God sure does bless us and give us the desires of our hearts.  S "Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her:" Proverbs 31:28 New Living Translation One thing I like to do when I do my bible study is use SOAP (scripture, observation, application, and prayer)  So I was reading through some of my soaps from a year ago and came across this one...  (it made me even more excited because now I am expecting my little boy in March)   "You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb." Psalm 139:13 O- your art for creating all of us is amazing. The feelings I had as y...
