Stinky Boys

You all know my husband is a youth pastor and now that we have a house with a finished basement we will be having many nights with teens over.   Last Friday night we had a "Risk" game party.  I'm not a huge fan of this game but wow we had 16 kids here to play this game! Only 3 girls in the mix and they braved the basement even when the boys started to stink it up.  LOL Have you ever played risk?   So, here are some of the stinky shoes I thought about baby powdering!  LOL  :) :)

Sidewalk Chalk Idea #3: Mosaic

I love just drawing different shapes on a slab of sidewalk and then having my kids color in shapes.  Look how beautiful they turned out.   There was some storm clouds coming in so we only did 2 of them but it would be so beautiful if we could cover our path from the garage to the house.  :)  With all of these ideas we are going to need to buy more sidewalk chalk.  :)  Sidewalk Chalk Idea #1 Sidewalk Chalk Idea #2

Far Flutterby *Review*

Far Flutterby was written for young readers aged 4-7 and written by Karen Kingsbury and illustrated by Jennifer A. Bell.   Far Flutter introduces Cody the caterpillar in the town of Better-than-Brown.  Cody longs for something more from life than being stuck on the ground watching others fly about.  But, with a little faith and patience, he realizes God has bigger and better plan for him, one which will give him wings and make him a butterfly so he can  take off to anywhere he wishes, including the wonderful land of Far Flutterby.   Far Flutterby is a whimsical read that will inspire children (and parents) to have faith that their dreams   will be realized.  Young readers will learn that God has a plan for them filled with wondrous things.  Like Cody, they will also find that through hard times, comes wings, as long as they have faith in God.   My Review: This is a beautiful story!  I love the vibrant pictures with bright colors b...
