Well, it has officially started! Kiah is 6 days into a 30 day challenge on this new human-grade dog food from Tylee's.
First let me get to delivery! It was fast and it was packed in dry ice...how cool was that! Super cool if you were my kids because their daddy did a cool science experiment with them right away! :) I know that was a side note but one I wanted to share.
So what is neat about this dog food? So many things, like Buy 1 Get 1 FREE with code "TYLEES" or even the fact that the ingredients might be healthier than what I may have eaten for the day which flax seed and chia seeds! Or maybe just knowing that there is no fillers or that nothing comes from China!
So here is a picture of the food. I have never served my dog food that looked more like human food. The fact that it has the green, yellow, orange color is pretty awesome. The next thing that caught my attention was the smell, it had a very sweet smell.
What did Kiah think? Well, she gets two cups in the morning and a cup later in the evening and she eats every bit within minutes! She is being so spoiled on this food since it is warmed up and such high quality. It has only been a few days so I haven't noticed much besides her begging for more food... I might have to increase from 3 cups to a little bit more??? I just think she loves it but I used to give her a little bit more with dry food. I have been happy that her system adjusted very nicely from changing her diet not bathroom emergencies or any other ill effects! Once I get further along in the 30-day trial I will keep you posted!
So, with this 30 day trial it is super hard to get my children to not give her scraps from their plates. I will admit we let our dog eat human food most days. It's hard not too but at the same time there is so many foods that are dangerous to their health. Like can a dog eat a Bananna? Or can they eat carrots, or crackers, or berries? The list of questionable foods is high!
