Praises of a Wife and Mommy

Yep it is THURSDAY already and time to make that weekly thankful post!  :) What are you thanking and Praising HIM for this wonderful week.  Here are a few of mine: 1. My daughters excitement to going to school each day and getting on the bus.   2. The opportunity to watch a little boy my son's age and supplement our income a little...always a blessing! :)  3. This house I live in!  I love it!  4. The cooler nights- sleeping is so nice when you want to cuddle in the blankets and not be sweaty from the heat.  5.  A nice friend coming over with her fancy camera and taking pictures of my daughter for her first day of 4-K.   6.  My dad's test results from his colonoscopy being great!  7.  Hearing my daughter talk about school and a certain boy!  It is very adorable! 8.  The free sandwich I got to eat at Arby's today... Time to Praise HIM!   Here are a few things I am praising and thanking HIM for this week. 1. Harvest- We had some yummy peas and the cucumbers are growing.  This year is my first garden so I am happy to have anything!  :)  2. The many new followers I have on this blog-the awesome Alexa Review that was left for me! All the positive feed back I have received!   3. Ice Cream- it has been a hot summer and ice cream makes my heart happy.  :)  4. Having my hubby home, he was gone at camp last week so it is always nice to have him back home! :) 5. Playing Cribbage with one of the older ladies from church!  She is a walking/breathing MIRACLE!  Loved hearing her testimonies!  :) Can't wait to do it again!  :) 6. Product Reviews- God sure has opened many doors to work with some really awesome companies!   7. My Hubby- He guides this family so well!  I love him!  I cherish watching him with our 2 kids- ...

It has been awhile since I have posted a Thankful Thursday.  I love to show gratitude and praise to my father God.  Here are the things I am praising Him for tonight: 1. The fun I have had with my kids this week.  Concerts, shows, farmers market, bowling!  :)   2. My puppy has got the potty training down!  3. Fun evening with church family!  I tried lobster for the first time...look for my post tomorrow!  :)  4. Health- AMEN! 5. Summer time- I LOVE it even with the HOT temps! 6. This blog- It has opened man doors and I feel so blessed WHAT ARE YOU PRAISING and THANKING Him for today? 

I have not posted a Thankful post in a few weeks so I thought it was time!!  Don't think I am not thankful cause I AM!!!  I have been so blessed lately...there is so much gratitude in my heart!  YAY! So I hope you all have been experiencing God in a much deeper way this 2012!! Here is my list of things I am so thankful for: 1.  God's never ending LOVE for me!  :)  I am his beloved!  YAY! 2.  We had safe travels for all our Christmas plans which included my husband driving to New York. 3. Our church blessed us with the church van!  :)   A couple years ago it was donated to the church but we do not use it enough to cover the insurance expense so they blessed us with it!  :) 4. My kids are healthy and happy and tons of fun. 5.  My husband got a pay raise!  Can I get an AMEN!  :) What a blessing that we were not expecting.  It worked out so well because I have not been cleaning the church anymore so we ...

I was hearing the Black Friday shopping stories and my heart just broke.  People are crazy and not in a good way.  I heard a lady using mace to secure an Xbox and a guy bringing a gun... REALLY PEOPLE??  I watched a video of crazy Wal-Mart people fighting over $2 waffle makers, but what got me the most is people getting 4-5 of them.  Can we at least limit the deals so they can go around?? This momma enjoyed her family time and my nice warm bed!  You will not see me fighting over a game system, waffle maker, or even an 18 inch doll that my daughter would love. I just have a heavy heart because we celebrate Thanksgiving where I really try to teach my children to Thank God for the many blessings we have.  We made a "thankful tree" we discuss during our meal what we are thankful for.  Then the next day society is telling people you need more stuff to be happy!  Let me be real honest with you... NO OF that stuff will make you happy!  You want...
