Fire Safety!

The annual Fire Station Open house happened and we had a great time.  We enjoyed the fire truck rides, going through the smoke house, seeing the ambulance, cop car, rescue boats, and a few others!    A couple of years ago I wouldn't have been able to get a picture of the kids with anyone in a costume... look how happy they looked there!  The fear is gone... AMEN!  Top Tips for Fire Safety Install smoke alarms on every level of your home, inside bedrooms and outside sleeping areas. Test smoke alarms every month. ... Talk with all family members about a fire escape plan and practice the plan twice a year. If a fire occurs in your home, GET OUT, STAY OUT and CALL FOR HELP.

Fun Day at the Fire Station!

We went to a nearby fire station for their open house last week.  It was a good time of touring the different vehicles including a helicopter and the smoke house to learn how to get out of a house safe!  We ate some yummy brats and were there with some good friends of ours.  This department is run by all volunteers!!!  THANKS SO MUCH GUYS N GALS for your service!! Here are some pictures from today. What a pretty fire women!
