Christmas Wish List Item: 3DLightFX

Still Christmas Shopping?  Hurry there is still time!!!   Captain America 3DLightFX made my 5 year old super happy!   Thanks to my mommy blog this boy got to open up a Christmas present early so mom could write the review on this really neat night light!   He was so excited to go to sleep with his new light!  He has a loft bed so this will be nice to add a little light to his steps.                               We are all giving it a two thumbs up!! My son loves that it is really coming out of the wall with the decal of cracked wall.   He also likes that it is easy to turn it on and off!   My husband installed it and said overall it was very simple!  The only time he had to be very careful was the edges of the wall decal because it was very thin in a a few places! There are so many other light choices from other super heroes, to Star Wars ...

2 Year old and Toilet Paper

Mother's also get the title, PLUMBER!  I had a little stinker sneak in the bathroom and unravel a whole toilet paper roll and put it in the toilet! He actually was very proud of his accomplishment which made me giggle!   So what has your child thrown in the toilet??  I am thankful it was only toilet paper.

Boys and Super Heroes

My son got these cute super hero action figures from his Papa for his birthday and he has been loving them.   Already at the age of two he loves playing with them, making them fly, crash, save each other, make funny noises to go along with each action.   I think this play is adorable and fun but I still want to teach my son the one true super hero we have, JESUS!  Jesus died so we could live= SUPER HERO!  He might be a little young to understand but this fun song sure helps some of those younger ones see Jesus as a Super Hero!

Mommy Victory!!

Some days it's the very small details that make a mom's day.  I know 10 years ago I would never imagine how happy and proud I am that my son has used the potty today!  :)  It is funny how strange our perspective of good days change after having children.   I was just telling friends that I have decided to push off potty training because my little guy has been fearful of the toilet the last few weeks.  I'm not sure how or why since he had gone potty twice and was so proud but he is still under 2 so I do not want to push him.   Then today he looks at me and says, "Poopy"  so we rushed to the potty and he successfully did his business.  YAY! I know we still have a ways to go for potty training but its the small victories worth getting excited about! :)

Vroom Vroom: Car Race Drawing Fun

This activity is sure to please a lot of boys.  My son loves cars and he is so adorable making his "car sounds."   This activity was very simple.  I took a piece of tag board and placed it on the table.  Then got a few cars out and taped a marker on it.  I even had  a bigger car that I taped 3 markers to.   My kids had fun watching the "tracks" they made with their cars.  We did have to fix a few markers since my son pulled them off or they just came off but no big deal when everyone was having fun and still had a car.  :)  Happy the tag board has a front and a back so we can do this again soon!  :) :)  Another activity to do is play green light/Red Light.  A fun way practice stop and go.  :)

Lil man has good aim...LOL

Yep I was getting ready to put lil Titus in the bath tub and he started to pee and got his sister all wet and me a little.  LOL  My daughter was laughing hysterically!  IT was very funny!!
