3-D Rainbow Craft

I love the look of these 3-D rainbows which are perfect for St. Patrick's Day or talking about Noah and the flood.    I pre-cut the stripes of paper or my little guy but older kids can work on cutting.  I also helped my kids with the fold at each end but they enjoyed gluing them on their paper.   This activity is easy to adapt to the age level needed!  Another fun touch is add some cotton balls for clouds, that added touch really completed the project.  My daughter did not care about the saying ROY G BIV, she did her rainbow the way she wanted and my toddler he did not put them in a straight line which created a very neat effect, his looks super cool!   These projects will make great center pieces for the next week!  :)

Leprechaun Treats

Are you on the search for some fun St. Patrick's Day treat to serve your kids?   These easy to make White Chocolate Covered Oreo's are sure to please the kids!  Simply melt some white chocolate and spread it over the Oreo and sprinkle the top with some green sugar.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Good Morning Green Pancakes

Yummy yummy in our tummy!  The green pancakes sure started our St. Patrick's Day out right!  Oh and don't forget the bacon too.  :)

Rainbow Necklace

Since St. Patrick's Day is this weekend we have been creating fun projects with bright color's.   Today we practice our lacing skills along with following the rainbow pattern.   * TIP:  Use a little scotch tape at the end so you can lace without any yarn separating. * What little kid would not want to make a necklace that hass a dual purpose as a snack for later.  :) Little man just wanted to eat the snack. :)

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

My daughter picked out some pom pom's at Dollar Tree this week.  Today she got the pack out and decided we should make a rainbow because it was raining outside.   It is BEAUTIFUL!
