This Week at Walgreen's

I was happy with my purchases this week at Walgreen's.  Total OOP was 1.23 and I got back $1 RR for next week.  :)  So here is what I got for $1.23: Success!  I got 2 packs of Expo markers, 24 pack of crayons, 3 glue bottles and a big Suave lotion!  :)  YAY!  Got to stock up on those craft and school supplies.  :)

Walgreen's Freebie

On the Walgreens Facebook you can print a $5 off coupon for Natures Made Calcium and this week it is on sale for $5!  :) CLICK here to print yours They are doing it  in honor of the Women's Health Month (and mom's everywhere)!!

WALGREENS ????

So I am wondering if anyone has had any issues like this: Yesterday I went to buy the Pamper's diapers I had $2 off WAG coupon and 1.50 Manufactures coupon. So I used 2 coupons for the one item and then it did not print the Register Rewards.   I battled with the manager for awhile and she ended up just refunding me money in the amount of what I should have gotten in register rewards rather then the actual register rewards.

GREAT WALGREENS DEAL... that prints more coupons!

Did any of you print that coupon last week for the Pedia Care?  This weeks ad also had the $5 off for Pedia care.  So Tuesday I used both coupons on the Pedia Care and got it for free and it printed another 1.50 off coupon, so today I went back and grabbed an ad at the door cut  the $5 off coupon and paired it with that making my total 1.13 for another medicine!  :)  It printed another 1.50 off coupons so I gave it to my friend and she went and did the same thing... and it again printed another 1.50 coupon!  :)  So if anyone feels the need to stock up on the Pedia Care this would be a great time to do it. :)

Walgreens 3/2/11

I was a little disappointed that a couple of the items I wanted to purchase were sold out!  :(  What a bummer, but I still managed to get some great great deals!  :) I did 4 different transactions to complete my purchases.  I have learned to go to the photo desk to check out rather then have people wait in line because I take too long. So here is a picture of what I purchased: (Sorry the picture is not the best, I took it on my phone.) Total spent:  $19.36 Total Saved: $49.26 I still have $6 Register Rewards for next week! What did I buy? -2 bottles of Arm n hammer laundry soap -4 bottles of Purex Crystals -3 bottles of Hydrogen Peroxide -Nivea Lip Care -Aquafore lip treatment -Trident gum -Toilet paper -2 Twizzler bags -Hershey Kisses -Whopper Easter Eggs -24 water bottles

Walgreen's trip 2/8/11

Had to be quick in and out today at Walgreen's.  I knew I had to get a few things that were not in the register reward category but still did pretty well.   So I spent $9 Have $4 RR for next week Saved over $15 What I got: Toilet Paper- On Sale and used a .25 coupon H2O-On Sale Hand sanitizer Free after RR 2 Windex- On sale and used coupon Right Guard Body Wash Free after coupon and RR 3 Sweetheart Valentines Candy- On sale I always like to buy water when it is on sale!  We needed new window cleaner, I am happy to have hand sanitizer so I can make people use it before holding baby, and I have been searching for the right candy hearts!  (no luck... where are the original candy hearts that I like??)

Walgreens nightmare turned out great...

I was all ready to head out to Walgreen's today.  I had my coupons and I new I would make 3 transactions to get the best deals. My first two transactions were great, no issues, but my 3rd one was terrible.   The cashier said my total was over $16 and I asked are you sure you got all my coupons and she assured me she did.  I paid then looked through my receipts.  I got 3RR for the Melatonin and 1RR for the sponge, but I never received my $5 for the four Dove products I purchased, in fact they rang up higher then the sale price of 4 for $15.  So I went back to the manager and she was trying to tell me that RR will not print if you use coupons... most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.  She made no sense at all since my purchase right before that I purchased two Advil products and used 2 $2 off coupons and still got $5 RR at the end of that purchase.   I still have no idea what that lady was trying to explain to me but she coul...

Walgreen's trip-1/13/11

I make a trip every week to Walgreen's!  Over summer I learned how to use this store and get amazing deals.  The first thing I always do before going is look through their weekly ad.    The weekly ad shows the sales, has coupons, and most importantly tells you what products have the register rewards.   Since the ad's are   store   coupons, they can be “stacked” with manufacturer’s coupons, meaning you can use them in conjunction with a manufacturer’s coupon. So, in this case, you can use both a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on one item. Often, you’ll be able to get a really great deal by stacking a store coupon, a manufacturer’s coupon, and a store sale. Register Rewards: As you walk through the store you will see bright yellow tags on the items so it is easy to see (some sales are yellow too so make sure you look.)  When you purchase an item that has register rewards a coupon will print out after you check out that tells you t...
