Praises of a Wife and Mommy

No one likes to have a fever and headache and icky cough but thanks to the "Throat Therapy" tea from Royal Tea my little guy is having some relief.  I love trying over the counter remedies instead of running to the doctor.   But we are on day two of a fever so I keep going back and forth about going to the doctor.   I think his body is naturally fighting these germs!  Not only is the flavor of this tea great but the price is perfect too.   Plus I feel great about the purchase because Royal Tea is tea with a mission.   The mission is to help national and local missions.  Right now they are trying to sponsor children through Gospel of Asia but they want to do much more!  Their dreams are huge!   Go pick up some tea for Christmas gifts!  THEY SHIP!!!   :)  Thanks Royal Tea for helping my boy! 

Back in November the whole family was hit with the flu bug but now again in May??  It is not fair to get the flu bug once warm weather comes.   On Thursday last week my daughter woke up sick but she seemed back to her normal self in just a few short hours.  On Saturday we were heading to the YMCA for a workout when my son threw up in his car seat.  :(  It was a huge mess and so stinky that my daughter was plugging her nose.  We pulled over to a gas station got him all cleaned up and headed back home.  He took a great nap and we went for a  walk which maybe was not a good idea since he ended up throwing up a big more.  :(   Then Sunday came... the day I had to throw a baby shower.  The shower did go well... Praise the Lord! The last half of the shower my stomach really started to hurt.   Thankfully one of the ladies offered to finish cleaning and lock up the church!  :) Well, I got home and my husband who was with the kids ...

I kept reminding myself who I am in Christ and rebuking illness that has hit my family.  We are visiting my dad and the last thing I wanted was for any of us to get sick.  I woke up yesterday morning and had a gut ache that would come and go.  Last night my daughter threw up a couple times and did not sleep well.  She is doing much better.  Then as I was texting my husband who is home he got sick too, but he had it the worst.  He threw up 9 times!  ICKY!  So we are believing and praying for all of us to get better and for no germs to infect anyone else!!
