After having this Olaf Christmas gift from last Christmas the kids finally had snow that would stick together and make a snowman!   They had a great time and even after this picture was taken they built another one so the snowman would not be lonely.  We have had snow and cold temperatures so far in December but now they are predicting rain on Christmas day!

Tomorrow marks the first day of spring!  Normally I am super excited and wearing the spring coat and putting away the winter gear.  Sadly our high for tomorrow is 19 degrees F!!!  BRRRRRR  We just got some more snow and the piles of snow are so high.  I truly want spring to arrive but it is taking its sweet time.   In the meantime I found another cute little company that makes adorable hats, headbands, hair clips for babies to adults!   I even got some crochet flowers so I can get a little crafty and add them as embellishments to what ever I feel like.  Might do a headband or some other crafty project with my daughter.  :)  I ordered this adorable headband and I have been getting lots of compliments while wearing it.  It is very thick so it still covers majority of my head.  I love the flower embellishment which adds so much character to it.  The headband and flowers are made by hand and are durable! ...

I just had to laugh as I watched my husband come out of the school -with our daughter.  She was in full winter gear, snow-pants, books, winter coat, mittens, ear muffs, hat, and scarf, but then look at my hubby in his shorts and cut off shirt.   Only in Wisconsin will you see this! 

Mommy n Daughter dates are fun!  :)  When was the last time you and your daughter had a date together?  I encourage you to make some time for this as it really is important for your mommy/daughter relationship.   Last week I took my daughter ice skating for the very first time.  I was a little nervous to put her on the ice but I left very proud of her.  Some might develop an undesirable attitude fall after fall but my daughter always got back up and never quit.  She may have left with a sore butt but I think she realized that failing or falling may happen but getting up and trying again is better then staying defeated.  :)  She may not be the best skater yet but she has developed a new hobby and is asking to go again soon!  I'm okay MOM!  LOOK AT ME!! WINTER FEST 2013  Last weekend was Winter Fest in my town!  :) Yes even in the freezing weather of Wisconsin we can find fun outside!  :) It started out on Friday evening with FIREWORKS.  I think that was the first time I have ever watched fireworks in the winter.  It was a bit chilly but it was worth it and we had a great view of the show.  :) The next day there were several activities planned out throughout the down town area.  We started out doing some mini golf, yes in the snow!  We actually used a tennis ball instead of a golf ball since there were snow obstacles.  :) My daughter did a great job and I let my lil guy kick the ball and he did better kicking them me swinging.   After the golfing fun we headed to the main area where they made a huge snow sculpture and slide.  My daughter wanted to keep going down the slide since it was so FUN.  My lil guy was to cold to even want to try the slide.   ...

The weather is actually not to terribly cold today but we have had some very cold weather!  You know when the weather is -25--40 with the windchill!  School has been cancelled one day due to the cold temps!  Weather here is Wisconsin sure does not seem to be effected by this Global Warming frenzy!   How adorable is my lil princess??  I love her to pieces, she was waiting for the bus to come and I took the time to make a quick photo shoot.  She has gorgeous eyes full of love and endless energy!
