Praises of a Wife and Mommy

So there is a story with this log.  One that I am disappointed in myself for.  You see that log? I saw it and thought oh that would be a fun one to walk across.  Soon after my husband and kids started to walk across.  Titus showed a little fear but faced it and walked across.  I on the other hand tried twice an chickened out.   I got really shaky and nervous and gave up.   My daughter even yelled, "mom, fear can go to hell."  To which I was a proud mom but I didn't face the fear.  I did not cross the log.  DARN IT!  

I remember being a 5 year old and running into a swing just like the picture of my daughter.  What a sweet childhood memory of my own and one I hope my daughter will remember.   To my Sweetest Daughter, I think with each day that passes my love for you continues to grow.  God has shown me his love for me by the love I have for you.  :)  You are a great little girl and a smart one too.   As a mommy I try my best to protect you from the world.  I pray that one day you might read this and think "my mom did a great job of teaching me about DADDY GOD and his love."  I pray for you daily and I am excited to continue to watch you grow and be your mommy.   xoxoxo

A summer cannot be completed without a trip to one of our favorite parks in Wisconsin.  We headed to  Eau Claire Dells , the beauty is stunning.  God sure made it beautiful!    We enjoyed swimming, hiking, climbing, eating, and a playground. :)   Look at that lil model!  :)  She loved being in front of the camera.  :)     The kiddos decided it would be more fun to bury daddy since the water was so cold.  Lil man may have gotten sand up daddy's nose but daddy was a great sport.  :)

He is near 16 months and he is fast, a climber, has a sense of humor already, and full of love (at least towards his mamma!)   It is so fun to compare my sweet and sensitive daughter to my rough and tumble boy!  :)   He wanted to keep hanging on these monkey bars last week!  :)   I guess I can't blame him when my hubby and I were doing the monkey bars!  :) 

Some days I can't help myself and I take a ton of pictures.  :)  I love to look back at them and remember the fun we had.  :)   The ages of my kids are so fun that I want remember each and every thing we do!  :) 

               We got free pumpkin's on Saturday at our local park.  They have a fun event for families that included a petting zoo, scarecrow dressing contest, music, hayride, and food.  I went with a girlfriend and her 2 kids.  It took Selah a very long time to pick out her pumpkin but she found her perfect one.  :)  Titus got a free one too.  :)  There was a guy there that was carving pumpkin's and he had a ton of talent!  I love the minion pumpkin and now I have an itch to go watch "Despicable Me."  :)
