You still have time to put together a cow costume and head over to Chick Fil A and get a free meal!  Today is their cow appreciation day and if you go head to tow cow you get a free meal (entree, fries, and drink) but if you go with just a little bit of cow you can still get a free entree.   Yes, my sweet girl is an adorable pinkish red cow.   The hubby did not get to join us due to work but he truly wanted to participate.  :) That's me!  I loved my free chicken sandwich!  :)  YUMMY!   My little guy was not a fan of dressing like a cow.  He ripped off his tail and spots.  They still gave him a free meal. :)

Many days the dog runs away from my daughter or son for that matter.  I don't blame the dog I would want to get away too.  I have noticed my dog becoming more and more tolerant and patient with my kids.  She is also playing a lot more with them and it is adorable to watch.  We recently found out that our dog loves tennis balls so that is a new fun game outside!  We sure do love our Kiah puppy.  :)

I was on the phone with my dad when I hear, "I lost my tooth, I LOST MY TOOTH!" Papa was happy to hear and talk to the big girl who has lost 2 teeth in one week.  I wonder if she will be missing the top two teeth come Christmas time.  :) So what does my family do for losing teeth?  You know we don't really do Santa or Easter Bunny so why would we do tooth fairy.  If you chose to do them that's great but my husband and I decided we truly did not want to confuse our children by allowing them to believe in something that is not real then find out its not real and then contemplate if God is real.  It can be a slippery slope and this is the path we chose as parents.   We still do fun stuff.  My kids still get fun stuff in their stockings at Christmas, they get to do Easter egg hunts and have an Easter basket, and for the tooth fairy, she still puts her tooth under her pillow and wakes up to something special.  We just get to take credit rather t...

I got to sample these chips a couple weeks ago and then a friend found them at TJ Maxx and bought them for me.  I am officially addicted and hooked.  Why eat chips that are bad for me with ingredients I can't pronounce when these are made of 3 things: plantains, oil, and sugar.  That's it! Trust me if you see these at the store buy them and give them a try.  :) 

Before After When we moved I found these three old and rusty folding chairs in my shed.  I immediately thought this is going to make a fun project!  I love DIY projects!!  Although my DIY projects usually require me asking my husband a lot of questions  and for his help.  ;)  I love his patience for me.  :) So here is the quick and easy steps to turning your old and drab folding chairs into new, fresh, and welcoming chairs.   Supplies you will need: Steel Wool Primer spray paint (prevent rust) Spray paint- Pick a pretty color Stencil for embellishment After you gather all your supplies (I found mine at Wal-Mart and total cost per chair was only $4)  grab the steel wool and put a little elbow grease into and get it as clean as you can.  My chairs had some dried paint and lots of rust.   Once you have finished with the steel wool next grab your can of primer spray paint.  Be su...
