Lazy Pug

We were on a walk with my sister's dog's and well her pug is a bit overweight and he refused to walk any further.   Luckily we had the stroller and he took a ride.  LOL!!!  We thought he would jump out but nope he stayed in for the ride.  :)  LOL!  We did have some genuine concern for him because he was breathing so heavily and it sounded terrible. Even after we got home he kept up the load hacking but I guess the deep heavy breathing is normal for a pug.  He is 6 years old!

Funny pose!

Oh poor pug getting so tired like that! Yeah, I heard it's normal for pugs to breath heavily like that. their nose is so flat-pressed to their face so they get little air in :) But they are sooooo cute like that!

Hi! I am a new follower from MFM! I had a pug many years ago and they are kindof lazy, and they get hot quickly with their squished in noses. Blessings! http://guidinglighths.com

Yes it is perfectly normal for pugs, they have a lot of fat deposits under their skin and get overheated very easily. They also have breathing difficulties from time to time. My extended family has 3 pugs, (1 fawn-brother 1fawn & 1 black- parents) and they have had breathing spells and eye surgery. It all comes down to breeding. Your pug is a cutie, guess the stroller will have to stay for awhile, a red wagon would be very cute too.

Liquid Chalk spray! Chalk Idea #7

Last week we tried out the fizzing sidewalk chalk- click here to read that review. This week it is liquid chalk spray.  They are a bit similar but yet different.  Here is how to make it: Supplies: 1 tsp. washable tempura paint 1 cup of hot water 1/2 cup of cornstarch squirt of dishwashing liquid 1 squirt bottle- I found them at the dollar store 1.  Add cornstarch to one cup of hot water whisking to mix so that there are no clumps. 2.  Add one teaspoon of washable tempura paint and a quirt of dishwashing liquid.  Mix well. 3.  Pour it into your squirt bottles and shake well. 4.  Go have fun!!!   This kept my daughters attention much longer the the fizzy chalk last week.  I also think this was easier to work with and just more fun in general.  I love seeing the chalk wet but then to see it dry.  I think it dried darker so it was fun to see the changes.  :)  Ready, Set, Go!  Have some fun! She is my little model... she kept saying "take my picture mom." She is like her
