The Journey of the Noble Gnarble Review and **Giveaway**

THE JOURNEY OF THE NOBLE GNARBLE One of my favorite things to do  with my kids is reading wonderful and creative children's books.  As you open this story the colors pop out and the sea creatures seem to be jumping out at you, it's beautiful. The book is also a hardcover book with a protection sleeve.  The author, Daniel Errico, was so creative in his naming of his sea creatures.  It makes it fun to read with fun rhyming action along with the occasional tongue tying moment that all children love.   My husband actually took out his guitar and sang through the book and my daughter loved it so much that she kept asking to hear it again.   I think this story is similar to a Tomas the engine- "I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN" positive thinking story.  My   daughter seems so excited as we read through the story which makes me believe she was inspired!  This story would make a perfect gift for any girl or boy so get your entries in and GO...

The Lump: A Gynecologists Journey with Male Breast Cancer, REVIEW and GIVEAWAY

The title and sub title of this book caught my interest immediately.  "A Gynecologists Journey with Breast Cancer"  makes your head turn and think, "did I just read that right?"  Yes, it is very ironic and rare for a male to develop breast cancer but then a male gynecologist...kinda makes you chuckle which is true when many of his patients had a little laugh too.                                                         This true story read very quickly and the author was real in expressing all the stages he went through from denial to anger and frustration.  For me it is always hard to read a story dealing with cancer because my mother passed away from Leukemia 9 years ago.   It was a nice read for me to reflect on my mother but also hear a success story.  Doctor Alan starts his book discussing high school...

"Something Inside of Me" Review and Giveaway

I had the opportunity to receive a free copy and a copy to giveaway of the book "Something Inside of Me" "How to hang on to Heaven when you're going through Hell" by Chitoka Webb.  So read my review and then enter for your chance to win a copy of the book using the easy rafflecopter form on the bottom.   My Thoughts: I was very excited to read this book as I felt this was going to be an inspiring story from a Christian women.  The story is not long and is a very easy and quick read but also very well written.  So if you don't have much time then this would be a great story to read.  I read this a few times before bed and while breastfeeding my little boy.   I was amazed at the drive that Chitoka (Toke) had throughout the entire story.  With a background growing up in the housing projects of Nashville by a single mother most people would use that as a pity story and not work hard but not Chitoka.  She was the opposite she had dri...
