Things that can easily ruin your good looks

When it comes to your physical appearance, things which you need to avoid are much more important that those you need to do. Simply put, women do a lot of things that are counterproductive jeopardizing their health and beauty in the process. This is why we made a list of 7 things that you need to avoid at all costs. Avoid using hot water for showering There are several reasons why you should avoid hot water. First of all, it is really bad for circulation and blood vessels. It can be really troublesome during the winter as it adapts you to warmth which poses a problem when you get out. When it comes to beauty, warm water is disastrous for your skin. It completely dries it. Use body milk after showering Even if you do not use too much hot water, there is still a chance your skin will become a bit dry after showering. Make sure to apply a thin layer of body milk on moist skin. This will lead to quicker absorption. Besides the fact that body milk hydrates your skin, it a

Book Review: "Found"

From the bestselling  The Jesus Storybook Bible , with over two million products sold, comes  Found  based on Psalm 23. Written by Sally Lloyd-Jones and illustrated by Jago, little ones will fall in love with this padded cover board book that reminds them of God’s Never Stopping, Never Giving Up, Unbreaking, Always and Forever Love. My Review:  The book "Found" is like walking through the scripture Psalm 23.  It has pictures that go along with it as if we were the lamp and Jesus our Shepherd.   This is a board book and is very short.   This is a Sally Lloyd-Jones book so it has one of my favorite lines from the Jesus Storybook Bible, "God's never stopping, never giving up, unbreaking, Always and forever love will go, too!"   Sally uses that line in most of the stories in the Storybook Bible.   Jesus is the center of it all... he is our answer!   Pictures are calm and the scripture is a favored one among many.

Book Review: "Angels in the Bible for Little Ones"

Angels in the Bible for Little Ones  gives children a fascinating look into how powerful behind-the-scenes helpers interacted with Bible greats such as Abraham, Daniel, and Mary, acting as messengers, protectors, warriors, and more. This padded cover board book, written by bestselling author Allia Zobel Nolan and illustrated by Alisa Massari, brings eight stories from the Bible to life for little ones. My Review:  This board book is one that will please the younger ones as much as the older ones.   Kids of all ages like to understand the uniqueness of Angels.   When we look inside our Bibles we will find several stories where Angels help us or delivered a message.   This board book covers eight of my favorite biblical stories such as Mary and Daniel! The pictures are also very pleasing to the eyes and help kids vision the stories more clearly.

Mom won some brownie points today when Selah got this Top Secret Journal Set from Smit Co. LLC.   This neat package comes with a journal, a 2-in-1 secret message pen, and a sweet LED light, and stickers!    My daughter immediately was having a good time with the journal... so much that her brother was becoming very jealous of him.  This was a nice surprise for my daughter but this would make a fun gift for a birthday or Christmas.   I remember writing in a journal when I was a kid.   I did write a lot of secrets in mine so here is a good question for parents... Do you read your child's diary?   Overall I have a happy daughter but now I am searching for a new journal for my son so he can have fun writing as well!

Learning Philosophy Play Based vs. Montessori

Choosing the best learning philosophy for young children When looking for a child care centre in Sydney is in no short supply.  It can be difficult to narrow the options.  Parent’s look at everything from safety, sanitation, class ratios, and learning philosophies.  After all, there is nothing more precious to us, than our littles. Without a doubt, our biggest challenge as parents is to educate our children.  And not just facts and figures, but character and overall well-being.   As far as nonacademic philosophies are concerned, there are two predominate options for early education: Montessori and Play based. Montessori Philosophy Montessori philosophy works off the premise that all people are curious by nature and love to learn.  The idea here is to use educators to support and guide the learning process, while allowing students to have limited control over the pace and subjects they learn. Montessori schools utilize multi-age classrooms to encourage peer based learning and

Walkies! Keeping Your Dog Safe When You're Out and About

Walkies! Possibly the most exciting word in your vocabulary according to your dog. Getting out and about with Fido keeps them from getting bored and destructive, keeps them at a healthy weight and let’s face it- is good for you too! However, there are a few hazards to be aware of when you’re out of the house. Here are a few points to bear in mind about walkies to keep your dog safe and happy. Don’t Over Exercise All dogs are very different. Some are high energy and require long walks with lots of running to keep them happy. Others are lazier, or smaller breeds tire more quickly. So there’s no set amount of exercise every dog needs, it all depends on the individual. As most dogs are happy to exercise until they’re utterly exhausted, it’s up to you to decide what the right amount is. Too much can lead to issues such as problems with the joints, particularly in older and younger dogs. But you should keep in mind that even when a dog is aging, it still needs to be active (but do

Book Review: "Destined to Win" by Kris Vallotton

Book Description Pastor and cofounder of the Bethel School of Ministry Kris Vallotton walks Christians through the profound process of discovering their true identity and experiencing the wonder of their kingdom purposes. As a pastor and the cofounder of the Bethel School of Ministry, Kris Vallotton has been teaching Christians all over the world how to walk in wholeness and purpose for more than seventeen years. In Destined to Win, he passes on the lessons that will help readers discover who they really are, overcome destructive behaviors, and become equipped for their kingdom purposes. Confronting the challenges that limit Christians—such as living shackled by past pain, fear, and unforgiveness—Vallotton offers practical solutions to the often-

Remember These Guidelines When You Order Flowers Online

Out of all the things you expect to find on the Internet, bet you never really thought of seeing an online flower delivery service. You are now beyond ecstatic to be able to surprise your significant other anytime, and anywhere you are. You plan on doing it at random times of the year, too; on you are sure they will be caught off guard. You are far too excited to even comprehend the form you are filling out for delivery information. But there is one tiny problem. Not only that, but you have apparently written the wrong house number on the address. Well, mistakes always happen, but there are ways to avoid it. Online florists have learnt to confirm information b
