Kwilt Review- photo storage.

I'll be the first to admit that every single time I open my camera on my phone it alerts me that I have no more cloud storage.  So when I had the opportunity to review this item I was super pumped!   Never heard of Kwilt?  Check this short video out: I will also have to admit that when it comes to techy related things I usually just ask my husband to set it all up.   I get anxious and hate reading directions.   I know... as a teacher I should not be admitting it.   Honestly though... I think I suffer from Technology anxiety, is there such a thing? HUGE air high 5's all around for this girl!  I didn't even ask my husband for any help using the Kwilt!!!   Seriously it is that easy!    I easily found and downloaded the app and set up my shoebox.   It was painless and in easy steps to understand.  No need to fret or worry for any of you people like me who don't feel techy in an advanced techy world.   These two pictures are screensho

Back to school shopping

Thank -you Influenster and Kohl’s for a great promotion!  I am in denial about back to school but this was a good start for us.  Both kids picked out a new shirt.  With coupons and Kohl’s cash we made a great deal!

Mall of America

Mall of America  Thanks Nana bethann for buying a wrist band for rides for the kids.   Next year Titus should be tall enough to ride more rides.   We only had a couple more hours and I wish we had more for them.  But when your visiting family it gets tricky as they plan other stuff too.   My kids are for sure asking to go back to Mall of America!

How to Start Saving for the Future Today

When you are young, you can often feel that nothing  bad  will ever happen to you.  However, when you get married and start a family, you have a lot of commitments and people that rely on you. Sometimes, it can be  difficult  to provide for your family, especially if you are on a tight budget and not earning a lot of money. There are ways that you can start to  save money for your future and that of your family.  Set Yourself Saving Goals Unfortunately, life doesn’t always run smoothly, between now and when you retire, there could be many reasons you need your savings. Maybe you lost your job temporarily, or perhaps you or one of your family gets sick. These problems can take time and money to resolve, so having some savings to fall back on can lessen the stress. To try and combat this, you should try to set yourself some saving goals. These are amounts that you can work towards for something that might  be needed  in the future. For example, you might want to have  a goal  for car rep

Cheese Factory Visit

CHEESE!!!!  I am a Wisconsin native and I love my cheese!    Regular curds or fried cheese curds will make me smile!   Yum!   If you go to Wisconsin you must stop at a cheese factory and try the fresh curds and get some for the car ride!  So good.

Crayola Expierence

Anyone go to Mall of America and do the Crayola Experience?   We had a fun time!   I will say that it may be named Crayola expensive.... thankfully teachers get in for free!  Otherwise adults and kids are $20 each!   At Crayola there are several activities to do.   I’d say your younger aged children will have the most fun.    We were able to label our own crayon, put ourselves in a coloring page and take it home!   There were several things that you can combine art with technology.  Like the picture below, Selah designed a runway dress and Titus a monster truck.  Then you scan it and they bring it to life on the big screen!    Then you could color and decorate a bird and with some black lights and magnets you could watch your birdie come to life with the music.  It actually was super cute!

Skoy Cloth Review

Thank you Skoy Cloth for sending me products for free in exchange for an honest review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions expressed are 100% my own.  The items I had for review included the scrub, towel, and reusable cloth.   About Skoy: Skoy Enterprises LLC is a woman-owned business located in Encinitas, California. Skoy opened its doors in 2007 with the launch of the Skoy Cloth. It was founded by the two current owners: Michelle Lundqvist and Karen Petersen. My Review: What a neat organization!  I love that it was created by women and that they

Chewy Review #2 on RawNibs

RawNibs Update: Kiah has been enjoying some RawNibs for a little while now.  She has been having it one time a day as a food topper.   She has the chicken and liver recipe and seems to be happy with that.   Currently, she has been getting it in the morning with her dog food.  She is showing me that she would rather just have this food and not her other food.  Every day she eats the RawNibs first and leaves her other dog food for a few hours before going back to it.   So that is my sign for sure, that she is a fan of RawNibs!   The other day while on facebook I saw a friend praising chewy.com because of their customer service!   I am going to brag as well!   I love working with Chewy on some of my reviews!   They also love to send surprises!  Here was my last surprise!   Thanks, Chewy.com for being so awesome!   Your company sure is making pets and humans excited!

Eldridge Moonlight Chase 2018

I am totally going to brag on my family!  I am just so proud of each of them!  They rocked this race!   Titus is holding his medal after running a mile in 7:30!   That is faster than me already- he is only 7 years old!   This lady right here BEAT her daddy running a four mile race!   This was her third time doing this race.  Three years ago she ran it in 36 minutes, last year 34, and this year 33:09!!!   She is only 10 years old and ran four miles in 33 minutes!!   That is a 8:18 pace!!!  No way can I keep up with this girl and neither can her dad as he came about 45 seconds later.   Selah said she lost her dad about 2.5 miles in the race.   :)  I am so proud of her!

Cereal Bar Night

Let's be honest and raise our hands and all admit we are too tired every now and again to make dinner and cereal is a go-to on those nights!   We were out an about and hungry and contemplated going out to eat or what to make at home.   We got this great idea to have a cereal bar night!   We each picked out a cereal and we even got several different milk choices.   So we got skim, 1%, 2%, strawberry, and Chocolate milk.   Cereal choices were Honey Nut Chex, Dippin Dots, Chocolate Marshmallow Matey's, and Captain Crunch Peanut Butter.   Selah's creation was a bowl of Dippin Dots (Banana Split) first with chocolate milk and then will strawberry milk.   This seems to sweet to even type out but she liked it.   Titus asked for a bowl of chocolate Marshmallow Mateys with chocolate milk.  This combo seemed like a natural one and Titus now wants me to keep buying chocolate milk.  Had to explain to him how much sugar was in it and how it is a treat!

Book Review: Devotions for Sacred Parenting

Book Description Raising children is a sacred calling—and not for the faint of heart. It shapes the parent every bit as much as parents shape their children. In Devotions for Sacred Parenting, Gary Thomas, author of Sacred Parenting, delves deeper into the conversation and contemplates the soul-transforming journey of being a parent. Many books have been written about how to parent your children effectively, how to become a better parent, and how effective parenting produces better kids. Devotions for Sacred Parenting explores an entirely different reality: how parenting transforms you, the parent. It explores the spiritual dynamics of parenting and why caring for your children is such an effective discipline in shaping your soul and forming the character of Christ within you. With all new material, 52 devotions explore the spiritual dynamics of parenting. These life-related devotions are creative, fresh, and encouraging, inspiring mothers and fathers to look at parenting f

2018 Zoo Trip

How To Feel More Confident

It seems as though there are confident people and less confident people. Those who have the confidence are the ones who go through life getting whatever they want because they have the ability to ask for it, or the belief in themselves to go and get it. However, for those with less confidence, or none at all, it can be more difficult. The key thing to remember is that everyone can be confident if you know how to start – confidence is something that grows over time. Here are some tips to begin your new, more confident life.  Stand Tall  Stand on a street corner or sit in a coffee shop window and watch the people going by. You’ll be able to spot those who look confident because they will be walking and standing tall with their shoulders straight and their heads up, looking as though they can conquer the world. The way you stand and hold yourself has an impact on how people deceive you, so by standing tall and appearing confidence in your body language is half the battle.

Paul is under the watchful eye of Mauritius (Martinez), the prison's prefect, who seeks to understand how this broken old man can pose such a threat.
