Covid-19 Church Service

What should the pastors do when Covid-19 shuts down the church building?   Well we made a tent in the middle of the sanctuary and watched inside with comfy pillows and blankets.   It was more like the balloon said, "Party."   We turned lemons into lemonade!  While my husband was not used to preaching to a quiet room we still provided distractions having the tent in the middle of the room.

My church

My church, We have been pastoring for five years in a small town and small church.  However a new wave of excitement is hitting us.  A new expectation and experience for people.  God’s love is all around and we are so blessed to have him use us in our small town.

Grotto Visit

Well, on the way home from visiting family we stopped in Dickyville, Wisconsin.  This grotto is part of a Catholic church.   It took five years to build and the details in the rocks are amazing!   I love all the colors of the different rocks!  So beautiful!

Church Parking Lot- Harley Bikers Every Where!

We had just gotten back home from getting the mail and then we had a parade of bikers come park in the church parking lot.  (During the week we share the parking lot down town)  It was neat to watch them all park and many were waving to my kids.   Makes me want to do a Biker Blessing!! :) I counted 47 bikes!!  Wowzers!  Sadly they were not in town too long because a bad storm was coming and they had to get back to another town.

Culture of Honor

It was a fun weekend as I headed back to Iowa to our soon to be new home, new church, new ministries.    My husband has been traveling back and forth each week.  This weekend we had our pastor go and they taught on honor together and it was awesome. The message above is worth listening too and I know your time is precious. Please take some time to listen to it and learn a little bit more about honor and how you can apply it to home, work, and well EVERYWHERE.

My Comfort Cross Review and Giveaway

"The wood is from the tree of life, those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed." Proverbs 3:18 I have the pleasure to review and do a giveaway with Comfort Crosses.  When I opened up the nice red velvet bag I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the cross.  I had pictured a much smaller cross but this was a nice good size.  It can easily be held and carried in a purse or bag without getting lost.   Immediately I started thinking about who I could bless with this beautiful cross.  There were so many faces that went through my head.  The cross is a nice gift for celebrations or a gift to cheer up and give someone hope.   Then my mind starting racing with ideas of  fundraising .  Do you have a youth group looking to do a  fundraiser ?   What a need wait to get support while supporting other Christians in Bethlehem.  :)  They also do a great deal for  fundraising , buy 50 crosses for ...
