Moonlight Chas

It is obvious to us that I have some runners on my hands!  My kids love and push themselves hard when it comes to running!   I am constantly cheering them on and leaving with my wide hanging open in amazement at their speed!  Selah ran 4 miles in 36.22!!  Titus did great too...just not a 4 mile race!

Road Trip with my Love

We took some "us" time to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and now I am wanting to plan another one! We put on 2464 miles on the car and it was worth it!  We went to St. Louis, Hunstville AL, Mobile AL, Pensacola FL before traveling back home!   I love my man and I am glad we had that time.  Our children went to stay with their grandparents!

Having a pool at home requires basic knowledge in pool maintenance. As a pool owner, you probably know the usual pool cleaning tips - skim, brush, vacuum, check the filter, pH and chemical level. And most probably, you are aware that these tips can be a pain in the shoulder. Keeping up with a pool cleaning routine can be tough and challenging as these have to be done in a regular basis.  Here, I am sharing you several mind blowing pool maintenance life hacks you definitely need to know. These will save you time and effort in cleaning your pool! Toss in a Tennis Ball Unusual as it sounds, but tossing a tennis ball will help you get rid of extra oils and chemicals in your pool. Sunscreen, tanning lotion, makeup, hair products and body oil often end up in your pool. These substances easily make your pool dirty. Throw in a few tennis balls and let it float while it absorb the oil and excess chemicals, leaving you with a clean and clearer water.  Use Baking Soda Su

How to Give a Bedroom a Jungle Theme

Ever since The Jungle Book hit the cinema screens, kids and adults alike have fallen in love with wild animal and safari themed bedrooms. If you don’t have much time, a few posters of jungle creatures will probably suffice, but if you want to be a bit more creative, go the extra mile and create a beautiful jungle themed bedroom with gorgeous bed linen from . Colour Schemes Jungle-themed rooms work well with greens and browns, but if you would rather take inspiration from the African plains, stick to reds, golds and oranges, with a few touches of green here and there. Jungle Print Walls Instead of plain, painted walls, experiment with wallpaper to create a fun jungle theme. Leopard print or zebra striped wallpaper is a fun way to start. Papering the entire room in spots or stripes might be a bit much, but one feature wall, perhaps behind the bed, would look very cool.  If you can’t hang wallpaper, use paint to create the same effect. Zebra stripes are

Book Review: "Snuggle Time Psalms"

About the Book: Did you think the book of Psalms was only for adults? Think again!  Snuggle Time Psalms , written by Glenys Nellist and illustrated by Cee Biscoe, is the perfect way to introduce little ones to the poetry book of the Bible. This padded cover board book uses simple concepts, rhyming text and adorable art to help children engage with the Psalms. Beginning with “Bedtime Peace” and ending with “Wonderful Me!” this collection of fifteen bedtime poems enables young children to discover the One who holds them in his arms, leads them like a shepherd, created them just as they are, and cherishes them with a love that never ends ... snuggle and see! My Review: With the word "snuggle" right in the title I knew I had a winner of a book. My kids love the chance to snuggle and so do I! This book was a great addition to our evening cuddle times of reading. We would read a couple pages each night to stretch the fun out but this book could be read in one

Sheboygan Camping Trip 2016

I lived in Sheboygan for 3 years yet I hadn't been there since 2011 so it was due for us to go and visit!   We had a great time and want to visit again soon! It is always a big memory trip when you take the kids back to an area they haven't been to in a long time and in Titus's case he was only in my belly the last time we went.

Book Review: "I Believe in Jesus- Leading your Child to Christ" by John MacArthur

Book Description Discover how to lead your child to Christ. It's the most important conversation you'll ever have with your child, but that doesn't make it easy. The gospel is simple enough for little ones, but has kept theologians debating for years. So when it comes to explaining the Good News to your son or daughter, where do you start? In I Believe in Jesus, John MacArthur walks children though the gospel of Jesus in a way that is easy to understand, and equips parents, grandparents, teachers, and loved ones to share the familiar story of God's love. By opening the door to conversations that lead to salvation, this picture books has the potential to change lives forever. My Review: This was an easy book to read and it paints a very clear picture for kids and parents to easily discuss the elements on the page to make sure the child understands what decision they could be making.   That decision to follow Christ is a big one that will impac
