Window Art

It sure took a long time with window markers instead of paint!  Next time I will use some washable paint!   However the best part was seeing the sunshine come through the window and create a colorful reflection!

New Hobby.... Thanks Covid-19

How are you staying busy with being home more?   I asked on our local free site if anyone had any house paint they wanted to get rid of.  I got several cans and now I have painted several canvas's.  I am trying new ways to do the pour painting!  I make a mess but it is very therapeutic for me.    What are you doing to stay busy?

My Two Aspiring Artists!

Who is ready to purchase some amazing art?

Franconia Sculpture Garden

Well, who would have thought that this big sculpture garden was only about an hour from my dad's house! When we first got there I didn't think we would have as much fun as we did but there was so much more at the park.   It's like every turn you never knew what you would find.     This was a tall sculpture of boom boxes.   LOL, my kids did know what it was so that was good!   I really liked this mirror image thing!    There is even playground stuff for your kids to climb and play on.   This was one of my favorites.  It was so beautiful!  This play structure was pretty and like a maze!  If you're ever in Minnesota look for this sculpture garden...only about an hour north of St.Paul/Woodbury area!

Hand and finger print flowers

I am on a hunt to find as many flower crafts as possible since the weather forecast here in Wisconsin is calling for snow again.  :(  I REALLY WANT SPRING and so do my kids.

Packing Peanut Snowm

I got a package that had a lot of packing peanuts so I had to find a way to reuse the packing peanuts!   Since spring is being very slow at arriving and we seem to be getting snow almost every day lately I thought a snowman would be a good choice. For my little guy I put the glue on his paper hand over hand and let him put all the pieces on his paper on his own.   My daughter had a lot of fun just digging in the box and getting some extra sensory time in while creating her snowman.

Toddler Rainbow Craft for St. Patricks Day

St. Patrick's day is March 17th so its approaching quickly.  I have a few ideas on art and food projects that i want to do with the kiddos.  Hopefully I will have enough time to complete them and share them with you.   This was a super easy one for those little hands.  I cut the stripes of colored paper but if you are working with a preschooler or school aged child then they can practice cutting.  The two toddler boys here only had to glue the pieces on their piece of paper.  EASY, but they enjoyed it!  :)  This is also a great craft for anyone doing ADHD parenting , as it’s simple to explain and can give you a break while the kids enjoy the process. It sure has brightened my kitchen with them hanging on the fridge!  :)   I also talked more about the Promise God gave us with the rainbow since I know that history a whole lot better then the history of the Irish Holiday!

Sweet Daughter

My sweet daughter made me this Valentine at school.  I loved it! I love her little thumb prints and the lacing with the yarn added a nice touch too.   If your looking for an easy Valentines Day Craft put this in your file folder for next year!  :)

Phone App Art Work

I felt a little sunshine just looking at these two flowers my daughter drew on my phone.  :)  I am looking forward to some warmer weather.   I am in awe of all the free apps on the app market for Iphone and Droid.  My daughter loves so many games!  :)   I will admit I have fun with the games too.  :)  Whats your favorite App?  The one she used to make this picture is called "Paint Sparkles."
