Praises of a Wife and Mommy

Dear Selah, This last week has been fun!  You started school and you LOVE IT!  LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! Daddy and I are so proud of you not only for doing great at school but also running.  This week you ran/walked a 5K and you ran the entire last mile!!  WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!! You were a "Super Friend" this week at school too! We love the choices you are making!  It pleases us and we know it pleases God!  :)  You are his favorite!!  :)  Don't ever forget that!!! As we were leaving the YMCA this morning my daughter asked me what we were going to do the rest of the day.  I started listing everything off, go home, eat lunch, take a nap, get groceries... but she  stopped me at grocery store and said "why?"  I replied, "we need food so I can make some meals this weekend so we don't go hungry."   The best part is coming...she is going to melt your heart.   Then she looks at me in the most serious way and tells me this,  "Mom, Jesus will give us food just like he gave that boy more food who had 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread.  He just kept making more and more food and handed out food to everyone oh and Jesus ate and ate some too.  So we can just ask Jesus for food."   I love knowing that she is learning all these wonderful Bible stories and can recall them all on her own and tell the entire story to me!  :)  LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!   This mom is PRAISING HIM for such a sweet treat.  I pra...

It was so adorable!!!  I had just finished tucking my sweet 3 year old daughter in bed and only a couple minutes later I could here her singing.  She was not just singing but singing in her fan so her voice sounded all goofy and funny.  So I listened for a minute and I hear her giggling and singing "Jesus i will love you forever...oh yay Jesus I love you."  So I started to walk in her room and she screams and runs to her bed as she knows she is not suppose to be out of her bed and says "mom you scared me."   I love hearing my daughter declaring how much she loves Jesus!  :) 

My daughter made me giggle tonight.  The last few weeks she has been asking to have a toothbrush with a button.  (a vibrating one like mom and dad). I told her we could look at Walgreens once I had a coupon.  Well I today we went to Walgreens with a $3 off coupon for a toothbrush.  She picked out an Ariel vibrating toothbrush.   So tonight as we were getting ready for bed she asked if she could use her new toothbrush.  She brushed them and did a very good job minus the fact that the toothpaste spit/druel was running down her chin.  After she was finished she started skipping to her bed room saying "that was so cool!" "I love my new toothbrush with the button."   She is adorable and I love seeing her get excited over the small little things in life.  :)
