Paper Plate Hats

Paper plates, scissor, and bingo dotters and a few minutes and you have an awesome hat.  You can make a hat for what ever season or holiday is approaching.  We created a St. Patrick's Day Shamrock, a heart, and a   hat for Titus's 11 Month pictures.  Before cutting I drew the picture I wanted first but if you are good you can fold the plate and go to town.

Noodle Necklace

Our first project with the dyed noodles were of course noodle necklaces.  My daughter is at the age where she is always sneaking into my jewelry box to wear something "pretty".  So a necklace for her is due.   I can not remember if we have practiced any lacing activities before but Selah was a pro!  :)  Thanks to Rissa for helping her learn how to lace.  :)   Oh you three are so beautiful sporting your noodle necklace!

Chalk Fest 2011

It was yet again jaw dropping talent this year at the annual chalk fest. I think over the next couple weeks I will post a picture from the event and make it fun for a couple weeks.  :)  I am going to start with my favorite one.   I found it odd that my favorite picture this year was a black and white one.  It was amazing to see the details in the baby and hand.  The girls in the picture are the artists...at a whopping 15 and 16 years old.  :) BIG TALENT!  GOOD JOB GIRLS!   Again, this chalk drawing was done by a 15 and 16 year old!   Look for more pictures through out the next couple weeks!  :)  Don't forget to enter my giveaway!

She drew her first person. :)

Yes, I get excited over all the little things.  At camp my daughter drew her first person!  :)  I thought it was great!  :)  The person she drew is Lydia... her friend from church.
