"The Rabbit and the Bear"

Last week we were at the Library picking up 24 Christmas books so we could read one each day leading up to Christmas. :) Today I absolutely loved our story.

We read, "The Rabbit and the Bear." It was such a cute story about a rabbit finding safety in the bears den on Christmas eve waking up the bear who was dreaming about the birth of Jesus! I think the Author, Ivan Gantschev had a new twist in sharing the Christmas story and it was a brilliant way. I really enjoyed the rabbit who was not shy or scared to share about Jesus! :) A good life lesson to discuss with your child. :)

My daughter also truly enjoyed the story and gave it 2 thumbs up! She got very excited in the story and stated in a high pitched excited tone, "That is baby JESUS."

If you are looking for a great Christmas story that actually teaches the true meaning of Christmas then this is a must read! :) I think I want to purchase a copy! :)
