One 2012 Goal-Weightloss!!!

So I have figured out in more detail my goals for fitness.  I have some great motivations for the year which include 1. a wedding in June that I will be a bridesmaid and 2. my 10 year class reunion will be sometime this year.  So it is easy since I want to look great for those 2 things.  The other motivation I have is within my family.  Today my dad, sister, hubby, and I each weighed in.  We each wrote down our goal weights.  We will weigh in each week and if we gain weight we have to put money in the pot.  At the end of the year we will decide what to do with the cash... probably a family dinner thing.

So I am going to do my goals in 3 steps with 3 great motivators on top of the ones already mentioned.

My start weight is 130 and my goal weight is 115.  After I loose the first 5 pounds I am going to go get my hair done (cut n color), at ten pounds I am going to get a pedicure, and at 15 pounds I want a night in a hotel with only my hubby no kids allowed.  3 great motivators for me!  :)  Also if I lose 15 pounds I am sure some clothes shopping will be included!  :) :)

I should have a few more goals posted later this week.  Still thinking about each one.  :) Since I do Christmas at my dad's over New Years I need some time after to get a game plan.  :)

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Timeless Truth Bible - Blogger Review #timelesstruths #biblegram #bible #Christianbookstagram

About this Bible: The Christian faith is founded upon an unchanging and unceasing confession: that “Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:11). This is the confession upon which all our hope, and all our joy, rests. The  Timeless Truths Bible  will encourage you in this truth through the wisdom of those who came before us with: Devotional notes and commentary from trusted theologians and pastors from the second century up to the twentieth to stir your affections. Ancient creeds and confessions of the faith to grow your understanding of what we believe—and have always believed. Artwork made throughout the history of Christianity to deepen your worship of God. My Review: I have a full house often being a pastor and now that we have a bonus daughter with us she is the blessed one to receive this Bible.  She has been desiring a bible to take notes in so when she saw margins she was pretty excited.  Then with the leather she was more exci...
