The Berenstain Bears *Book Review*

About The Berenstain Bears and the Easter Story:
Brother, Sister and Honey Bear learn that there is more to Easter than chocolate bunnies, marshmallow chicks, and jelly beans when their Sunday School teacher has them sit in on a play entitles The Easter Story.   A great way to teach children that it may be OK to enjoy Easter treats but they must not forget that Salvation is much sweeter then candy.

My Review:
It is so easy for our children to get caught up with candy, bunnies, and eggs because of the worlds view on Easter (the malls, TV commercials, bulletin boards, and well everywhere).  I loved reading this book because I loved reading how the hearts changed in Brother and Sister Bear.  We just celebrated Easter so my daughter kept stopping me in the middle of reading so she could tell me more about Easter.  :) This story is perfect for any child so they can really learn the true meaning of Easter.

About The Berenstain Bears All Things Bright and Beautiful:
Brother and Sister Bear are delighted when their Sunday school teacher takes the class on a special nature walk around Bear Country.  While the cubs are skeptical about what such a hike has to do with church, they quickly learn that God is the creator of all things in the environment.

My Review:
This story reminded me of one of my classes.  I took the kids out and we made nature bracelets and talked about all the things God made.  :) The pictures were very beautiful showcasing God's creation.  I also enjoyed some of the words in the book come from the song "All Things Bright and Beautiful" an older hymn but one I love.  This story is really a perfect book for any Sunday School classroom or Christian School.  I would use it during talks of creation or use it before or after taking your own nature walk.

About the Authors:
Stan and Jan Berenstain introduced the first Berenstain Bear books in 1962.  Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents work together to write about and draw these lovable bears.  Eventually he started drawing and writing about them too.  Since the late 80's, he has been very much involved as a writer and illustrator with his family's creation, the Berenstain Bears.  He continues to work with his mother, Jan, creating new books, writing and illustrating.  The antics and activities of Mike's three children have provided inspiration for many Berenstain Bears books over the years.  Though Stan died in 2005, Jan and Mike continue to create the delightful Bear adventures from their family  home in Pennsylvania, in an area that looks much like the sunny dirt road deep in Bear Country.

Common Mistakes Made When Writing a Will

Writing a will should, by all means, be a simple thing. You want to make sure that your assets are being left to your loved ones and that your final wishes are being fulfilled. Usually, they are rather straightforward, but that doesn’t mean that they are entirely foolproof. Here, we’re going to look at some common issues that can lead to disputes or delays in carrying out your will. Image - CC0 License Not Having It Witnessed Correctly One of the most common mistakes when writing a will is not having it witnessed correctly. Wills generally require the signatures of at least two witnesses who are not beneficiaries or spouses of beneficiaries. If the will is not witnessed in accordance with legal requirements, it may be declared invalid, meaning your estate would be distributed according to intestacy laws, which may not align with your wishes. It’s important to follow the witnessing procedures exactly as outlined in your jurisdiction to ensure the will is legally enforceable. Chan...
