Harvest Fest

Our church held a harvest party yesterday and despite the cold temps we had a blast and a lot of people came out!  :) 

We started with the petting zoo.  My kids both loved the baby ducks.  They also had a cute calf, baby goats, pig, baby bunnies, and chickens. 





Next on the to-do list was pony rides.  My daughter got to ride on "Snickers."  It was a good lil pony and my daughter really enjoyed it. 


We also went on a little hayride... a very scrunched but fun hayride.  It was great I really got warmed up as we all snuggled. 


I was surprised when our Square Dance caller showed up and was playing Vinyl records.  I had no idea they were still being used.  WOWZERS! 


The kids also enjoyed some bounce houses and pumpkin decorating.  Over all the event was a success but I do hope we get warmer weather if  we do it next year.  :)

Dry Idea: Deodorant Review and Giveaway

I know most of you know I was at kids camp last week and I think I mentioned the humidity and heat that we had that week!  I was daring as I only brought my new Dry Idea  deodorant  that I had never used prior.  I had no idea if it was going to keep me from smelling like B.O or if I was going to have sweaty pits.
