Doux Petit- Headband Review

My daughter looked amazing at our Christmas party at church last night.  Her dress matched her custom made headband from Doux Petit perfectly.  Thank you, Amelia, from Doux Petit for working with me on a custom order.  All opinions are mine and I was not paid for this review.

Doux Petit is located here in the USA so lets support our local small business's!  Ameilia from Doux Petit  is located in Chicago and she creates beautiful hand crafted hair accessories from headbands to clips using many different types of fabric ranging from tool, satin, lace, and other embellishments to make it a one of a kind piece.

I was a very satisfied customer through each aspect of my order.  She communicated quickly and she sent me pictures to help me choose what I wanted.  I was offered choices too which helped get exactly what I wanted.  It was a great pleasure to receive such awesome customer service and have direct communication with her.  Shipping was super fast too which was a great bonus during this busy shipping month!

My Memory Suite Review and GIVEAWAY!

MY MEMORIES SUITE Review and giveaway!  (#1 rated scrapbook software)  The above is one of the scrap pages I have created.  Super easy and super fast.  I only took a couple minutes to create a 8 page photo book.  I am still going to do some more with adding more embellishments!  The below is one I created all from scratch and it only took me about 5 minutes!  :)  SO EASY!   Here is a great video explaining more about the product.  There are also tutorials available on youtube.com I am not sure if you are like me but I have spent hours online trying to upload photos to the web to place them into something I was trying to create.  THE BIGGEST BONUS to My Memory Suite is the fact that it is downloaded to your computer so you do not have to wait forever for a picture to upload! It made my experience much quicker then other programs I have used online.  The scrapbook software was very easy to download on my computer and did not take long to learn how to create.  :) One feature t

Liquid Chalk spray! Chalk Idea #7

Last week we tried out the fizzing sidewalk chalk- click here to read that review. This week it is liquid chalk spray.  They are a bit similar but yet different.  Here is how to make it: Supplies: 1 tsp. washable tempura paint 1 cup of hot water 1/2 cup of cornstarch squirt of dishwashing liquid 1 squirt bottle- I found them at the dollar store 1.  Add cornstarch to one cup of hot water whisking to mix so that there are no clumps. 2.  Add one teaspoon of washable tempura paint and a quirt of dishwashing liquid.  Mix well. 3.  Pour it into your squirt bottles and shake well. 4.  Go have fun!!!   This kept my daughters attention much longer the the fizzy chalk last week.  I also think this was easier to work with and just more fun in general.  I love seeing the chalk wet but then to see it dry.  I think it dried darker so it was fun to see the changes.  :)  Ready, Set, Go!  Have some fun! She is my little model... she kept saying "take my picture mom." She is like her
