Thank-you Lakeshore for sending me the "What Should You Do?  A Game of Consequences."  I was not paid for this review and all opinions are 100% mine.

About the game:
What Should You Do? A Game of Consequences
Sharing a toy moves you closer to the finish, but reading your sister’s diary will send you back
two spaces! In this fun-filled game of consequences, players face everyday dilemmas that
deal with topics like honesty, bullying, manners and more. For 2 to 4 players. Ages: 6 – 11
Retails- $19.99

I immediately took this game to my new classroom.  I am now a teacher for a BD/LD classroom and this game fit great into our life skills class.

My students and I played last week and we had a great time.   I think the two sets of cards allowed for more excitement in the game.  My students loved the "take a chance" cards as they were always hopeful to get a good move forward card. :)  I do however wish there was a bigger stack of question cards.  With four people playing we almost went through every single card making it tougher to play the game again anytime soon.  I am already thinking of adding more questions so we can play it again soon.

I am excited to bring the game home and play with my daughter.  I think she will have a good time and I think she will make some wise choices when asked all the questions.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...
