Cozy Wall Art Review and GIVEAWAY ($75 value)

Many of you loyal fans are probably thinking how can she be doing another review on a wall decal??  I know I have done 3 already but I moved so now I need all new ideas for my walls!  :)  I left the new owners of our house with the fun decals.  :)

I am excited to introduce you to a fun company, Cozy Wall Art.  I was sent product to conduct and honest review.  I was not paid and all opinions are 100% mine.  More about Cozy Wall Art:

They began Cozy Wall Art to create products that would accent the life and personality of your home. They like to think of their products as accessible artwork – affordable prices with unique and diverse designs so that you are sure to find something that your family will enjoy for years.

All of their durable vinyl products are designed and produced in our studio. We strive to produce quality products, offer excellent support and provide timely shipping. Your order is important to them and they take care to ensure that you will enjoy it.
They offer designs for every room of your home. Elegant or lively designs for the family room, dining room and kitchen. Fun and educational products for children of all ages.
Currently their focus is offering awesome wall art designs but keep watching us! We have some great new products in the works.

Cozy Wall Art was a pleasure to work with! My order arrived quickly and safely.  My advice for any newbie is to take the vinyl out and lay it flat with some heavy items on it to take care of any rolling issues from shipment.  I left my flat for over a week and I think that helped a tremendous amount.

If you have never applied a wall decal then you truly need to pay careful attention to the details of the directions.  If you lack attention to detail or rush through putting your decal on your wall you will end up with a hot mess.   I really liked the directions Cozy Wall Art sent me.  Since I had 3 larger pieces to apply I ended up using the hinge method and my husband was the leader of the project.  Without him I would have rushed through and not have a desirable result. The hinge method has you apply half the decal at a time.  You might think it sounds like a pain but really it helps the process and lessens frustrations.

Yes, I will agree that I need a new bedspread package... it might be on my Christmas list.  :) I am so happy to have gotten rid of my huge and cracked headboard and put up this decal.  It has opened up my small bedroom a significant amount.

Find your next wall decal at Cozy Wall Art. Or add them on Facebook to stay up to date on deals and giveaways.

Time to enter the GIVEAWAY!!!  The winner of the Cozy Wall Art giveaway will win a decal of their choice (up to $75 in value) with free shipping.  This would make a great Christmas gift for anyone...or yourself.  :) Please use the easy Rafflecopter form below.

Liquid Chalk spray! Chalk Idea #7

Last week we tried out the fizzing sidewalk chalk- click here to read that review. This week it is liquid chalk spray.  They are a bit similar but yet different.  Here is how to make it: Supplies: 1 tsp. washable tempura paint 1 cup of hot water 1/2 cup of cornstarch squirt of dishwashing liquid 1 squirt bottle- I found them at the dollar store 1.  Add cornstarch to one cup of hot water whisking to mix so that there are no clumps. 2.  Add one teaspoon of washable tempura paint and a quirt of dishwashing liquid.  Mix well. 3.  Pour it into your squirt bottles and shake well. 4.  Go have fun!!!   This kept my daughters attention much longer the the fizzy chalk last week.  I also think this was easier to work with and just more fun in general.  I love seeing the chalk wet but then to see it dry.  I think it dried darker so it was fun to see the changes.  :)  Ready, Set, Go!  Have some fun! She is my little model... she kept saying "take my picture mom." She is like her

Toddler Rainbow Craft for St. Patricks Day

St. Patrick's day is March 17th so its approaching quickly.  I have a few ideas on art and food projects that i want to do with the kiddos.  Hopefully I will have enough time to complete them and share them with you.   This was a super easy one for those little hands.  I cut the stripes of colored paper but if you are working with a preschooler or school aged child then they can practice cutting.  The two toddler boys here only had to glue the pieces on their piece of paper.  EASY, but they enjoyed it!  :)  It sure has brightened my kitchen with them hanging on the fridge!  :)   I also talked more about the Promise God gave us with the rainbow since I know that history a whole lot better then the history of the Irish Holiday!
