WHY VITAMINS AND MINERALS IN CHOCOLATE?

Some vitamins like A, D, E and K are considered fat soluble. This means that they require lipids (fat) in order to be absorbed into the body. Chocolate is a perfect companion for these fat soluble vitamins because chocolate contains cocoa butter—a healthy fat—which can help improve the vitamin uptake in the body. 2

DARK CHOCOLATE HEALTH BENEFITS

Research has recently been pouring out in support of eating dark chocolate–in moderation. Eating dark chocolate has been linked to all sorts of health benefits such as decreased anxiety, depression and appetite, and improved artery function and energy production. 4

CACAO SUPERFOOD & THE DARK CHOCOLATE DIET

Cacao is a superfood high in antioxidants and flavonoids; meaning it can absorb free radicals that can harm the body.5 Add in the boost of vitamins and minerals in Roar Chocolate® DAILY and you've got the best dark chocolate for any diet.

DELICIOUSLY DARK

We include just the right amount of cacao to provide the amazing health benefits without being too “dark” tasting. If you love dark chocolate, you’ll love Roar Chocolate. If you’re not a big fan of dark chocolate, our experience tell us that you’ll still love Roar Chocolate.

WAYS TO ROAR

Fans of Roar Chocolate DAILY have enjoyed it in countless ways. Besides enjoying it straight out of the bag, try it in s’mores, dipped it in peanut butter, substituted for chocolate chips in recipes, and more. This chocolate fits most any diet. Add some Roar to your life!

SWEETENER

Our chocolate is sweetened with maltitol which is naturally found in chicory leaves. Our maltitol sweetener is made from wheat but remains gluten free. Just like with xylitol, or other low-glycemic sweeteners, some people may experience a mild laxative effect with increased consumption.

My Review
Thank you Roar Chocolate for sending me this for free in exchange for an honest review.
I love chocolate!   I do typically prefer milk over dark but this is starting to help change my preference to make me more healthy.   I love that my daily vitamins can come from a chocolate square.
I packed my Roar Chocolate in my lunch so when I was on my lunch break I had a little sweet before getting back to work.  However, the ideas listed above sound more exciting with peanut butter or as s'mores.  YUM!

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Book Review: "God I feel Scared"

Kids have big feelings, but none of their feelings are too big for God. In this picture book from licensed counselor Michelle Nietert and Tama Fortner, young readers will explore what it means to feel scared and discover how to manage their emotions in a healthy way. Scared is a feeling that can be hard to face, but if we listen to it, we can learn things about ourselves. In  God, I Feel Scared , children will discover that it’s okay to be scared and that God is with us in all things, including fear. With simple, accessible text, scared becomes an emotion that kids don’t need to avoid and instead something they can use to better understand themselves and grow closer to God. The bright, emotive art by Nomar Perez will draw kids in, and a note in the back provides tips and techniques parents and caregivers can use to help young children process their feelings in a beneficial way. God, I Feel Scared  teaches kids ages 4 to 8 how to: Identify the feeling of fear and recognize thin...
