How to Fix a Bad Smile or Get Your Smile Back

When you have a smile that you are not happy with, it can affect many areas of your life. If you’ve been living with it for decades and feel the need to avoid smiling, then isn’t it time to get your smile back? If you’re willing to get some dental work done, here are a few possible options.

Teeth Whitening

If you’re a smoker or you were before you had your kids, then discoloured teeth may have caused you to avoid smiling at all costs. Maybe you’ve tried whitening toothpaste and other home remedies and it hasn’t helped much? That’s not too surprising.

Most people don’t know that the whitening products used in the dental care field are stronger and more effective. They need to be carefully administered which is why they’re not available over the counter.

Don’t despair if you have yellowed teeth. See if a dentist can sort that out for you. Check out the whitening services on this dental site to learn more:

If braces have always scared you and, as a mum, you don’t feel they would be manageable, then consider Invisalign instead. Invisalign is like a retainer that fits over the teeth. It’s transparent, so your teeth are still visible. The product is designed to gradually adjust the angle of your teeth to fix minor misalignments that have plagued a person for years.

Also, Invisalign braces are easily removable too. There is no problem with food getting stuck in the braces in a restaurant or feeling self-conscious in social situations. Just leave them at home and go out to enjoy yourself.

Dental Implants

When a tooth becomes diseased and needs to be removed, a gap will remain after the procedure is complete. If this sounds like you, it can be problematic if it’s visible when smiling. Even if it’s further back in your mouth, the gap can collect food and become a pain to keep clean and avoid future infections.

Dental implants are designed to fix these issues by inserting a screw into the gumline at that point and affixing an artificial tooth there. Once in place, the new tooth can complete the smile without any obvious gap remaining. Fixing a gap like this can increase confidence and help maintain optimal oral health too.

A veneer or facing is designed to fit over an existing tooth. In a situation where a row of teeth is a little misaligned with inconsistent spacing between the teeth or length variances, this solution can provide a consistent appearance.

Veneers are produced using porcelain or another material to best resemble a tooth. They’re shaped and coloured to match the surrounding teeth. A small amount of enamel from the tooth is removed to seat the veneer and ensure it appears uniform.

There are many different ways for a dentist to fix a bad smile. Crowns and bridges may also be used either on their own or in combination with one of the above dental care options. Ultimately, it’s no longer necessary to live with a smile that you’re unhappy about.

My Review:  Thanks to the Knot Genie for sending me the product to conduct my review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions expressed are 100% mine.  I know I have grown so tired of my daughter coming to tears every morning when we did her hair. I was becoming to think she was the most

Dry Idea: Deodorant Review and Giveaway

I know most of you know I was at kids camp last week and I think I mentioned the humidity and heat that we had that week!  I was daring as I only brought my new Dry Idea  deodorant  that I had never used prior.  I had no idea if it was going to keep me from smelling like B.O or if I was going to have sweaty pits. So how did the Dry Idea hold up to the hot and humid days at kids camp???  Arms raised high during worship in the morning and in the evening!  :)  I was dry and I did not stink!  :) WOOT WOOT!  I had the unscented brand and I usually do prefer a pretty scent but it worked and they do have scents which include powder fresh and cotton dry that I might try in the future.  :) The Dry Idea Roll-On is 24 hour protection, fast drying MicroCotton Formula, hypo allergenic, and contains Vitamin E.  :) Don't like roll on's??  They do offer Clear Gel and an Invisible Solid.  :) Dry Idea provided a free sample of their Advanced Dry roll-On so I could review them.  However,
