Vroom Vroom Vroom: Car Fun

Fun Car Tunnel!  One long tube and a handful of cars made this little boy stay occupied for a long time.  There were lots of giggles, car races, and chasing the cars during this play.   It excites me when I can take something I was going to throw away and create a new way to play with it.  I mean what 2 year old would not want to have a huge tunnel for their cars?  One way to change it up and create some education for this activity is to put the tunnel at different heights to see the different speeds the cars will travel.   My son also tried to put cars on top of the tunnel rather then in the tunnel to watch them crash and fall.  Since this we have colored all over the tube and now it is one colorful bridge!

Lakeshore Bubble Pop Math Game

I allowed my daughter some fun games on the computer or tablet before but now it's time to start thinking about more educational games and fun ways to learn using the technology we have.  Thank you Lakeshore for providing me with a copy of the Bubble Pop Math game to conduct my review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions are 100% mine. Game Description ages 6+: Students race to solve skill-building math problems in 4 different categories by popping bubbles that show the correct answers—before they splash into the pond! To play the excitement-filled game, kids choose a category & subskill from the menu…then pop the correct bubbles to build addition, subtraction, money & time skills! Kids earn points to progress through 8 levels of play, and with each level they unlock, the challenge increases—along with the fun! Best of all, the game lets you create & save a profile for every student in your class, so kids can stop & start whenever they ...

Cute Crochet Caps Review

Tomorrow marks the first day of spring!  Normally I am super excited and wearing the spring coat and putting away the winter gear.  Sadly our high for tomorrow is 19 degrees F!!!  BRRRRRR  We just got some more snow and the piles of snow are so high.  I truly want spring to arrive but it is taking its sweet time.   In the meantime I found another cute little company that makes adorable hats, headbands, hair clips for babies to adults!   I even got some crochet flowers so I can get a little crafty and add them as embellishments to what ever I feel like.  Might do a headband or some other crafty project with my daughter.  :)  I ordered this adorable headband and I have been getting lots of compliments while wearing it.  It is very thick so it still covers majority of my head.  I love the flower embellishment which adds so much character to it.  The headband and flowers are made by hand and are durable! ...

Packing Peanut Snowm

I got a package that had a lot of packing peanuts so I had to find a way to reuse the packing peanuts!   Since spring is being very slow at arriving and we seem to be getting snow almost every day lately I thought a snowman would be a good choice. For my little guy I put the glue on his paper hand over hand and let him put all the pieces on his paper on his own.   My daughter had a lot of fun just digging in the box and getting some extra sensory time in while creating her snowman.

Only in Wisconsin

I just had to laugh as I watched my husband come out of the school -with our daughter.  She was in full winter gear, snow-pants, books, winter coat, mittens, ear muffs, hat, and scarf, but then look at my hubby in his shorts and cut off shirt.   Only in Wisconsin will you see this!
