Mr. Popper's Penguins

It was so exciting to find out that our theatre had $2 movies at 10am a couple days a week during summer. So the hubby and I on our staycation took the kiddos. :) It was a very funny movie. Titus even watched part of it before dozing off for a morning nap. :) Selah was laughing at many parts throughout the movie.

Hubby and I both read the book when we were in 5th grade. :) I could not remember a whole lot from the book but I really enjoyed the movie.

Here is one of the scenes that was super cute! Jim Carey is such a funny guy and I love his family friendly movies. :)

Overall I believe the film is a good reminder to us parents. The movie reminds the dad that is family should be the top priority and not work. I love the restoration that occurs through the movie and the moment went Jim Carey realizes what is important. Work is work but our children grow up to fast! ENJOY THEM AND EVERY MOMENT YOU GET WITH THEM!!! I love my family!! Thank you Jesus for blessing me with an awesome hubby and 2 wonderful kids! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
