She had a Pinkalicous, Pinkerific, Pinktastic 5th Birthday!!!!

The day was sunny and beautiful for a special girl turning 5!  Her birthday theme was PINKALICOUS and we had so much fun with the theme.  :)

Grandpa with his grand-kids!  My dad has lived 2-4 hours away from me but always makes it to my kids birthday parties.  I am so thankful for that!  I think that if there was one word to describe him would be Present... he never missed any big event of mine or my kids!  He was at all my sports events in high school...he is my number one fan!  :) I LOVE HIM!

We were able to have a ton of fun and I was thankful for the sunshine and warm temperatures!  As my daughter waited for friends to arrive she was pacing.  She was excited to help put on a Pinkalicous necklace on each of her friends for coming.  :)  Check out Jewelry with a Smile.  She is offering a personalized bracelet with character choice to one lucky winner!!  Check out the giveaway: ENTER HERE

The girls also got to take home an adorable Cupcake crayon from Scribblers Crayons.  These are so adorable!  Check out my review on Scribblers Crayons: Click Here  I love the birthday themed crayon idea!  It fit the theme so perfect and the girls loved it!  :)

As her friends were arriving we started with Pinkalicous stories.  We have a huge book with 5 stories on CD.  Some of the girls were not familiar with the book series so it was fun for my daughter to share her excitement.

After we went through the 5 books it was time to make a Pinkalicous wand.  Thanks to Natasha Crafts for supplying the Wands.  She is also giving away a whole Pinkalicous party pack- GO ENTER HERE.  Each of the girls got to add some sparkle to their wand with some glitter.

The next important thing in a little girls party is CAKE!  Look at this yummy cake!  :) Thanks Debbie from Loving Traditions for a beautiful cake!  :)

 WE LOVE YOU SELAH!!! xoxoxo

After cake and ice cream we went outside to create some art with Sidwalk Chalk Spray.  Here is the recipe: CLICK HERE

After all the fun we did a quick photo shoot with all the girls!  They are all beautiful and I am so thankful my daughter has great friends.  :)

Look at all the love here.

Your next year of life is going to be fun I know you are going to be showered with many blessings and love!

Liquid Chalk spray! Chalk Idea #7

Last week we tried out the fizzing sidewalk chalk- click here to read that review. This week it is liquid chalk spray.  They are a bit similar but yet different.  Here is how to make it: Supplies: 1 tsp. washable tempura paint 1 cup of hot water 1/2 cup of cornstarch squirt of dishwashing liquid 1 squirt bottle- I found them at the dollar store 1.  Add cornstarch to one cup of hot water whisking to mix so that there are no clumps. 2.  Add one teaspoon of washable tempura paint and a quirt of dishwashing liquid.  Mix well. 3.  Pour it into your squirt bottles and shake well. 4.  Go have fun!!!   This kept my daughters attention much longer the the fizzy chalk last week.  I also think this was easier to work with and just more fun in general.  I love seeing the chalk wet but then to see it dry.  I think it dried darker so it was fun to see the changes.  :)  Ready, Set, Go!  Have some fun! She is my little model... she kept saying "take my picture mom." She is like her
