Thankful Thursday

Yep it is THURSDAY already and time to make that weekly thankful post!  :) What are you thanking and Praising HIM for this wonderful week.  Here are a few of mine:

1. My daughters excitement to going to school each day and getting on the bus.

2. The opportunity to watch a little boy my son's age and supplement our income a little...always a blessing! :)

3. This house I live in!  I love it!

4. The cooler nights- sleeping is so nice when you want to cuddle in the blankets and not be sweaty from the heat.

5.  A nice friend coming over with her fancy camera and taking pictures of my daughter for her first day of 4-K.

6.  My dad's test results from his colonoscopy being great!

7.  Hearing my daughter talk about school and a certain boy!  It is very adorable!

8.  The free sandwich I got to eat at Arby's today... The new turkey sandwiches are delicious.  :)

9.  The fun wagon we picked up at a rummage sale... we have used it every day this week.  My kids love it!!

10.  My husband... I LOVE HIM!!

What are you thankful for this week?

Thank you for sharing this :) I'm thankful for bloggers like you who aren't afraid to share their faith! If you get a chance today, will you please pray for my son Kyle who is a freshman this year. He is only taking 2 classes and home schooled the rest. This is his very first school experience! He wants to play baseball so he has to take classes at the public school. He is a bit overwhelmed! He has a quiz today, so if you can pray for the knowledge in his head to get onto the paper, I'd appreciate it :)
Thanks Christy, That comment made my day!

Jesus,
Please help Kyle as he takes his first quiz this year! Guide his pencil and help him recall the information. Give him peace and joy through his day. I also pray that his baseball season goes amazing! In your name, AMEN
With all the stories about child abuse by nannies and caretakers that one has been hearing about off late, I couldn't help but install a nanny cam to make sure my kids are safe. I tried GotoCamera's free software, which is easy to set up and even easier to use. They have a free version of their software. However, I upgraded to their Premium service, which costs about $4 a month.

Knot Genie Review and Giveaway

If you have a little girl and have not heard of the Knot Genie then you need to watch the following video:   "The Knot Genie™ and Teeny Genie™ Detangling Brushes were created for every mom that has endured the foot stomping and screaming matches that come with brushing their child's hair. With the Knot Genie, even the curliest, most knotted up hair practically slips through the unique bristle configuration – gently and painlessly. Try the Knot Genie on your kids (or on yourself) – you'll be amazed by the ease of brushing, as well as how it virtually stops breakage and split ends. You've wished for hair brushing standoffs to end. Wish granted." My Review:  Thanks to the Knot Genie for sending me the product to conduct my review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions expressed are 100% mine.  I know I have grown so tired of my daughter coming to tears every morning when we did her hair. I was becoming to think she was the most

Dry Idea: Deodorant Review and Giveaway

I know most of you know I was at kids camp last week and I think I mentioned the humidity and heat that we had that week!  I was daring as I only brought my new Dry Idea  deodorant  that I had never used prior.  I had no idea if it was going to keep me from smelling like B.O or if I was going to have sweaty pits. So how did the Dry Idea hold up to the hot and humid days at kids camp???  Arms raised high during worship in the morning and in the evening!  :)  I was dry and I did not stink!  :) WOOT WOOT!  I had the unscented brand and I usually do prefer a pretty scent but it worked and they do have scents which include powder fresh and cotton dry that I might try in the future.  :) The Dry Idea Roll-On is 24 hour protection, fast drying MicroCotton Formula, hypo allergenic, and contains Vitamin E.  :) Don't like roll on's??  They do offer Clear Gel and an Invisible Solid.  :) Dry Idea provided a free sample of their Advanced Dry roll-On so I could review them.  However,
