TruKid Review and Giveaway

About TruKid:

When founder and mother of six, Jennifer Adams Bunkers, created TruKid, there weren’t a whole lot of children’s products on the market for her to choose from, and a lot of the stuff out there was chemical-filled and unhealthy, or smelled “yucky”, according to her kids. Jennifer always felt hesitant to use those products on her children. One day, she found two of her kids playfully applying her wrinkle cream. She realized that a concoction used to zap crows’ feet probably wasn’t suitable for their youthful skin, so she set out to create products for her kids. Using only natural ingredients, and essential oils to make scents that children love, she created an easy system, made up of products accompanied with fun educational activities, so kids could learn how to take care of themselves. The rest as they say, was [TruKid™] history.
As for what comes next, Jennifer has plans to launch the TruKid Foundation™ this fall. The Organization will be for kids, by kids, and it will focus on charity work around the Bay Area, including product donations, outreach activities, and educational projects-all of which will work towards fulfilling the TruKid™ mission of helping children learn to care for themselves, each other and the world around them.
Jennifer’s story poses one question over and over again; how does she do it? Her answer is simple; because she believes that she can. (It doesn’t hurt that she has an uncanny ability to deal with stress and chaos). But most importantly, Jennifer is able to juggle all of this because she’s doing what she loves, whether it’s taking care of her family or developing the products for her company.

My Review:
Thank-you to TruKid for sending me the Hero Stick, and body wash to conduct my review and to the giveaway winner.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions are 100% mine.

The Hero Stick has an awesome name and I think for many kids when they hear Hero Stick they will want to show how tough they truly  are which will allow mommy or daddy to put the balm on any scrape without all the fuss.  I am thankful that my children have not had any scrapes to use this on yet but I used it on my leg and I am happy to report that there was no burning!  A product worth using to help heal that dry skin or cuts and scrapes.
The body wash was the other item I was sent for review.  This product is ALL NATURAL and has many organic ingredients in it to ease a worried parent concerned with harsh chemicals or to alleviate a child's sensitive skin from other body washes that use other ingredients that are to strong for their sensitive skin.  The easy squirt bottle is great to allow my daughter more independence in her bath.  The scent is very faint coconut and I am happy it is nothing to strong!

All the TruKid products are free from Parabens, Phthalates, Gluten, BPA, petroleum, and any harsh chemicals.
I am always happy to find new products that are safe and this product is helping me protect my children.  THANKS TruKid!

Common Mistakes Made When Writing a Will

Writing a will should, by all means, be a simple thing. You want to make sure that your assets are being left to your loved ones and that your final wishes are being fulfilled. Usually, they are rather straightforward, but that doesn’t mean that they are entirely foolproof. Here, we’re going to look at some common issues that can lead to disputes or delays in carrying out your will. Image - CC0 License Not Having It Witnessed Correctly One of the most common mistakes when writing a will is not having it witnessed correctly. Wills generally require the signatures of at least two witnesses who are not beneficiaries or spouses of beneficiaries. If the will is not witnessed in accordance with legal requirements, it may be declared invalid, meaning your estate would be distributed according to intestacy laws, which may not align with your wishes. It’s important to follow the witnessing procedures exactly as outlined in your jurisdiction to ensure the will is legally enforceable. Chan...

Win some Sweet Andy's Cookies

A big thank you to Andy who sent me some amazing cookies to try to conduct my review.  :)  All opinions expressed are 100 % mine and I was not paid for this review.   About Sweet Andy's Cookies: The “Thank You” Cookie In 2009, Andrew (Sweet Andy) found himself in a position like so many others at that time in our past; the economy was quickly spiraling downward and he had left his job in the financial services industry. Although Andy had an MBA in Banking and Finance and had even written a book entitled, “A Guide to Taking Control of Your Investments”, he found himself to be disenchanted with the financial industry and left to pursue “other work.”  The “other work” that Andrew pursued was with the Church and did not provide financial support for the family.  During this time Andy and his wife, Lissa, struggled to find other forms of income. They did what they could for themselves and their five children but often it was not enough. But there were...
