FUNBITES- Sandwich art

Thank you FunBites for sending me the "heart it" pattern to conduct my review.  I was not paid for this review and all my opinions are 100% mine

ABOUT FunBites
My name is Bobbie Rhoads. My husband and I have two girls...Jackie who is now 13 and Dylan who is 9. A few years ago we came up with FunBites. Jackie has always been a great eater. She would eat pretty much whatever you gave her so long as the food was neat and organized. My little one, Dylan, was a different story. She was truly picky nicky - she liked the same food all the time, didn't like to try new things, unless it was junk food.

At meals we would spend so much time cutting food into small shapes. Wouldn't it be easier if there was something we could just press down into their food and bippity boppity boo!...food would be made into bite-sized pieces? Maybe our kids would try new foods and eat better; maybe mealtime could be less stressful and more fun. Is that even possible?

Welcome to FunBites. It cuts food into bite-sized shapes.  FunBites works on kid-friendly food from lunch meat and cheese to hamburgers, pancakes and fish. Jackie loves FunBites because the food is cut neatly and evenly. Dylan finally eats her food, real food, not junk food.

We just had to share FunBites with you. Maybe you have a kid like ours or maybe you simply want to add a little more fun and simplicity to your kitchen. We hope FunBites makes your mealtime more nutritious, a little easier and a lot more fun.

My Review:
The fact that the heart FunBites comes in pink thrilled my daughter who is 5 years old.  One of her staples during the week is peanut butter n jelly sandwich.  She loves them!!  The day I used the FunBites she ate the entire sandwich, this mom was happy she ate so fast and the whole sandwhich, even the crust that was cut off!  :)

I really enjoyed the puzzle aspect in the big heart.  Sneaking education during meal times is an added bonus so I loved the idea.  The downfall for me was a bit more mess then normal.  The FunBites did squeeze extra jelly and peanut butter out when I pushed down on the FunBites.  It was no big deal and when we have a meat sandwich or use a lot less jelly the mess disappears.

I like the extra tool to push the shape out so you do not have to push or pull or make a huge mess dealing with sticky peanut butter.  The product is very easy to use and my children love the extra fun they get at their meal time.

I also love the idea of using the FunBites on other food items.  One thing we will be trying is cheese and fruit.

Also find FunBites on Facebook and Twitter.

Knot Genie Review and Giveaway

If you have a little girl and have not heard of the Knot Genie then you need to watch the following video:   "The Knot Genie™ and Teeny Genie™ Detangling Brushes were created for every mom that has endured the foot stomping and screaming matches that come with brushing their child's hair. With the Knot Genie, even the curliest, most knotted up hair practically slips through the unique bristle configuration – gently and painlessly. Try the Knot Genie on your kids (or on yourself) – you'll be amazed by the ease of brushing, as well as how it virtually stops breakage and split ends. You've wished for hair brushing standoffs to end. Wish granted." My Review:  Thanks to the Knot Genie for sending me the product to conduct my review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions expressed are 100% mine.  I know I have grown so tired of my daughter coming to tears every morning when we did her hair. I was becoming to think she was the most

Dry Idea: Deodorant Review and Giveaway

I know most of you know I was at kids camp last week and I think I mentioned the humidity and heat that we had that week!  I was daring as I only brought my new Dry Idea  deodorant  that I had never used prior.  I had no idea if it was going to keep me from smelling like B.O or if I was going to have sweaty pits. So how did the Dry Idea hold up to the hot and humid days at kids camp???  Arms raised high during worship in the morning and in the evening!  :)  I was dry and I did not stink!  :) WOOT WOOT!  I had the unscented brand and I usually do prefer a pretty scent but it worked and they do have scents which include powder fresh and cotton dry that I might try in the future.  :) The Dry Idea Roll-On is 24 hour protection, fast drying MicroCotton Formula, hypo allergenic, and contains Vitamin E.  :) Don't like roll on's??  They do offer Clear Gel and an Invisible Solid.  :) Dry Idea provided a free sample of their Advanced Dry roll-On so I could review them.  However,
