 The US is one of the most widely known countries in the whole world. The great influence that it has exerted on the planet even before its discovery by European colonizers makes it a place that everyone wants to visit at least once in their lifetime. 

It is important to clarify that it is mostly its cultural domination that makes it such an interesting place to visit. In the cultural sphere we include literature, movies, music, fashion, a can-do attitude and a trendy lifestyle. It is not accidental that most trends start there. 

Although the country receives millions of visitors all the time, it is hard and expensive for travelers from continents other than North America to go there. However, it is worth the trouble. Many people think that New York is the capital of the US. This is false; Washington, D.C. is the capital of the country. Why is there this misconception? Because everyone keeps raving about New York. The urban beauty of the city, the emphasis on fashion, the plethora of cultural events going on every day and the united communities of people from all around the world make it a place that impresses everyone. It goes without saying that you must go to the most iconic attractions, which are the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Empire State Building and Times Square.

We have to make it clear that the United States is a huge country. You shouldn’t even think of exploring the whole country. What you can do is hire a car and get to know a chunk of it.
