My Review: This little gem arrived just a few days ago and I approached this book differently them most books.   Instead of starting at the beginning of the book I went from Iowa because it is where I call home to Wisconsin since that is where I originate from.   After reading those I jumped to other Midwest states I have been to from Minnesota to Illinois and Michigan. Each devotional only a few pages and each end with "Reflect" "Read" and " Pray."  Then I expanded to more states and still need to finish all of them.   I got to thinking about how thankful I am that I have been to so many states.   Now I have even more excitement about visiting some I have not been to yet.  I will say I am thankful that these devotionals did not point to expensive or lavish vacations but rather something unique about the state that leads to new spiritual insights and points you to a mighty Father! 

Overall the stories are very fun and touching as this family has visited all the states.  Each state has a very simple message that effortlessly appears to connect to scripture and reflection so it can be more applicable to every person.
