I was reading some of the blogs I follow and came across the blog " Hip Chicks guide to PMS, Pregnancy, and Babies ." She just posted the "Good Morning America" interview of a mom who gave her 8 year old Botox shots for a pageant.  WHAT!?!   We have girls starving and throwing up after each meal, we have girls tanning at young ages, waxing before they are even menstruating, dying their hair, and now we have 8 year olds getting Botox when it is very clear they are not wrinkles but dimples!  LORD HELP US PARENTS TO MAKE BETTER DECISIONS FOR OUR CHILDREN! I was reading my Thriving Family magazine and came across this idea to go through the alphabet using each letter to describe a quality of GOD!  :)  The article was talking about their child waking up from a nightmare and they would first pray and then go through each letter describing a trait of God.  Obviously the child would fall back asleep before getting to Z.  :) So I thought I would get the alphabet going... feel free to add some more! A-Amazing or almighty B-Beautiful C-Comforter D-Delighful E-Everlasting F-Forgiver G-Grace giver H-Healer I- Inventor J-Just K-King L-Lover M-Magnificent N-Never ending O-Omnipresent  P-Peaceful Q-Quiet R-Rest S-Savior T-Trustworthy U-Understanding V-Victor W-Wonderful X-.... Y-.... Z-.... ok... So I need help with X, Y, Z!  Lets see your A-Z list! 

My husband is a youth pastor so we are around teens a lot.  I love each and everyone of them and hope they realize they have a GOD given purpose in life. I just find it staggering that SUICIDE is the 3rd leading cause of death among 15-24 year olds!  WHAT!!!   As a youth worker the last 5 years I have seen first hand many teens struggle with suicidal thoughts and low self worth.  It breaks my heart.  I just want to stomp and shout at the enemies lies that he is telling our teens.  IT IS OUR JOB TO ENSURE AND ENCOURAGE THESE TEENS!  Help them to gain a new identity in CHRIST JESUS!   A few more shocking stats:      -for every suicide completion there are between 100-200 attempts.      - 15% of high-school students report suicide ideation!      This is out of control!!  Our youth should not be struggling with wanting to live!  Will you join me in praying for this generation?  The prayer...
