Praises of a Wife and Mommy

Who knew we would spend about 45 minutes playing with this yellow ball and kids cooking pot.  My little guy has a pretty well known obsession with all balls!  He see's one and he is after it.  I actually had to leave Target one day because he was having a melt down because of a ball...sigh!   In our hallway we simply played several throw and catch games.  We used the pot to bounce the ball and throw the ball.  We bounced the ball off the wall and off each others tummies, and he laid on the ball for some fun rolling and balancing too!  You can believe we will be doing this activity again and probably soon!  He has several other balls that I'm sure he will want to try these games with.  :)  You can see the pure fun and joy on his face in the picture below.  :)   Today, I encourage you to find a ball and find some new ways to play with it.  

As part of the Purex Insiders I was sent the Dry Idea Advanced Dry Deodorant for my review.  All opinions expressed are 100% mine and I was not paid for this review.   I started using a Dry Idea Deodorant last summer and I am really started to love that fresh and clean feeling as opposed to the other sticks of deodorant.  :) This new Pulse Activated feature is neat, and I feel confident when I am at the gym.  :)  This deodorant is 72 hour protection...not sure if I will test the waters there but for those people who forget the D.O for the B.O its a great feature!  Might be a good kind for all those teenagers to keep in their lockers!  :)  Less stinky days in school the better. :)   I also like the fresh scent I received  it is fresh and I don't have to worry about my deodorant being over powering and can still wear my perfume without the scents fighting each other....

Some people hate the whole matching thing with their kids but as long as its not all the time it is quite adorable, well in my opinion.  :)   I mean look how handsome these two fella's are!  They sure know how to make me smile.  :)  What a blessing these two are in my life.  :)  LOVE LOVE LOVE you both!  

My mom passed away when I was 18 years old.  To this day when I look through some of her notes in her Bible I get a mix of emotions.  I love seeing her hand writing, I love hearing her heart and her prayers, but sometimes it makes for a roller coaster of emotions.  I will admit it has been a long time since I have looked through those notes but after I saw an idea to create a journal to go back and forth between my daughter and myself I jumped on the idea and started right away.   My daughter may only be 5 and can't write but she can draw and make sounds and before I know it she will be sounding words out.   The idea for me is to be a constant reminder that I love her, that JESUS loves her, to share my heart and prayers with her so she can go back and reread when ever she has a bad day.   If I had something like this even after 10 years of my mom's passing it would be amazing!!  :)   I also think that creating a journal at s...
