Flu Symptoms in Toddlers and Young Children: What to Look Out For

Children and toddlers are prone to getting colds and coughs all the time thanks to their developing immune systems. In some ways this is good for them, as their immune system will get stronger as a result enabling them to better fight off the germs and viruses that they come into contact with. But, how do you know when it is more serious than just a common cold? Flu is a virus that manifests itself in a much similar way to the common cold initially, but can make the patient feel very unwell and last for a number of weeks. If you think that your child or toddler may be suffering from a case of the flu, here are the symptoms which you should be looking out for. F everish It’s not uncommon for children suffering from the common cold to have a bit of a high temperature, but if they’re suffering with the flu it will be a lot more noticeable. Happy Birthday J

This post is very bitter sweet for me!   I was so happy to attend this little guys day but my heart is sad as I know good byes are soon to come.   Okay... that sounds way worse then it truly is as our friends are only moving to a different state not death!   Had to make that clear... but my heart is feeling a loss.   You see this little guy is friends with my kids but his mama is definatley a huge support to my husband and I both.   Always fun to have around and has totally blessed our ministry here!   It is hard to think of them not being here.  I keep asking God whey the season of life he has had me in latley is a lot of good byes because I am very exhausted of saying good bye to friends.   It will be a glorious day when we reconnect in Heaven!   So as much as I will be praying for their move, to a new state, new church, new friends, new schools I am also asking God to keep us connected and heal my sad heart!   Pray w...

Warm Spring Weather in February!!!

I had a great time with the kiddos when it was near 60 degrees in February!   It was amazing!   Love this warm weather in February even if my kids are still desperately wanting a big snow storm and snow day from school.      This winter has been everything else except snow and cold!   HA!   We have had rain and even tornado's in December... very strange!   The kids however did get sleds and a build and Olaf set that are still in the boxes because we have had no opportunities to use them.
