Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. What is one thing on your bucket list? If you don't have one let's pretend you do.
I dont have a bucket list but I guess on the top of my head I would like to go on a mission trip.

2. What makes a good dad?
A good dad is a dad who loves his wife and encourages and loves his kids.
3. Are you afraid of insects? Which ones?
I don't like creepy crawly things.
4. We're barbecuing...what's on the grill at your house?
We don't own a grill right now but I imagine brats n steak and kabobs!
5. Do you believe playing is more important than winning?
I think that playing to have fun is more important then winning but winning is always fun.  It is always about a good attitude and a good sportsmen.  Also trying your hardest so you have no regrets.

6. Do you tan? Use self tanners? Visit tanning salons? See your dermatologist at least once a year?
I went tanning before I got married.  Don't use self tanners, and I don't see a dermatologist.

Put any random thought here.

I need a vacation.  I feel like there is so much silly drama around me and I am running away from it all!  I want only good and pleasing thoughts n conversations.

I LOVE GOD n I love warm weather!  Kids camp next week!  WHOO HOO

I actually think a vacation is a good thing when it comes to drama. Sometimes getting away helps you see things from a different angle and if the person creating the drama loves an audience, well it removes that part of the equation too : )

Vacations are great to escape the drama! I'm counting down the days until mine rolls around.

I'm with you on the creepy crawly bug issue, I don't like em either.

And as far as winning, the Canuks lost the Stanly Cup so I'm bummed right now and having played the game to the finals isn't enough to console me. boo hoo

Vacation is good, sometimes you just need to escape from all the stress and negativity around you so that once you come back you're feeling fresh and you have a lot of positive energy to share and influence the people around you, it's like a breath of fresh air. :)

I hate creepy crawlers too, they are scary and uuggghhh I just don't like them hahaha.

great post dear!

♥hugs and be safe♥

Knot Genie Review and Giveaway

If you have a little girl and have not heard of the Knot Genie then you need to watch the following video:   "The Knot Genie™ and Teeny Genie™ Detangling Brushes were created for every mom that has endured the foot stomping and screaming matches that come with brushing their child's hair. With the Knot Genie, even the curliest, most knotted up hair practically slips through the unique bristle configuration – gently and painlessly. Try the Knot Genie on your kids (or on yourself) – you'll be amazed by the ease of brushing, as well as how it virtually stops breakage and split ends. You've wished for hair brushing standoffs to end. Wish granted." My Review:  Thanks to the Knot Genie for sending me the product to conduct my review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions expressed are 100% mine.  I know I have grown so tired of my daughter coming to tears every morning when we did her hair. I was becoming to think she was the most

Dry Idea: Deodorant Review and Giveaway

I know most of you know I was at kids camp last week and I think I mentioned the humidity and heat that we had that week!  I was daring as I only brought my new Dry Idea  deodorant  that I had never used prior.  I had no idea if it was going to keep me from smelling like B.O or if I was going to have sweaty pits. So how did the Dry Idea hold up to the hot and humid days at kids camp???  Arms raised high during worship in the morning and in the evening!  :)  I was dry and I did not stink!  :) WOOT WOOT!  I had the unscented brand and I usually do prefer a pretty scent but it worked and they do have scents which include powder fresh and cotton dry that I might try in the future.  :) The Dry Idea Roll-On is 24 hour protection, fast drying MicroCotton Formula, hypo allergenic, and contains Vitamin E.  :) Don't like roll on's??  They do offer Clear Gel and an Invisible Solid.  :) Dry Idea provided a free sample of their Advanced Dry roll-On so I could review them.  However,
