Day 26: Hands on Play- play in a box
Praises from a Wife and Mommy!
DAY 26 CHALLENGE:
PLAY IN A BOX
DAY 26 CHALLENGE: Spend [at least] 15 minutes playing with, in or around a cardboard box! Let the imaginations of your children decide what it will be today. Add any elements needed to create it.
Since we just put up the Christmas tree it was easy to figure out we were going to play with the big tree box. :)
First we were drawing and coloring shapes. Then Selah started to draw random things and before I knew it we had a house for her princess's. :)
I think she was a bit sad when I told her it was time to clean up because we were going to put the box back in the garage. We live in a small place so the box was kinda blocking our door.

MY MEMORIES SUITE Review and giveaway! (#1 rated scrapbook software) The above is one of the scrap pages I have created. Super easy and super fast. I only took a couple minutes to create a 8 page photo book. I am still going to do some more with adding more embellishments! The below is one I created all from scratch and it only took me about 5 minutes! :) SO EASY! Here is a great video explaining more about the product. There are also tutorials available on youtube.com I am not sure if you are like me but I have spent hours online trying to upload photos to the web to place them into something I was trying to create. THE BIGGEST BONUS to My Memory Suite is the fact that it is downloaded to your computer so you do not have to wait forever for a picture to upload! It made my experience much quicker then other programs I have used online. The scrapbook software was very easy to download on my computer and did not take long to learn how to create. :) One feature t
Last week we tried out the fizzing sidewalk chalk- click here to read that review. This week it is liquid chalk spray. They are a bit similar but yet different. Here is how to make it: Supplies: 1 tsp. washable tempura paint 1 cup of hot water 1/2 cup of cornstarch squirt of dishwashing liquid 1 squirt bottle- I found them at the dollar store 1. Add cornstarch to one cup of hot water whisking to mix so that there are no clumps. 2. Add one teaspoon of washable tempura paint and a quirt of dishwashing liquid. Mix well. 3. Pour it into your squirt bottles and shake well. 4. Go have fun!!! This kept my daughters attention much longer the the fizzy chalk last week. I also think this was easier to work with and just more fun in general. I love seeing the chalk wet but then to see it dry. I think it dried darker so it was fun to see the changes. :) Ready, Set, Go! Have some fun! She is my little model... she kept saying "take my picture mom." She is like her
