Book Review: "Faith Builders Bible" and GIVEAWAY!!!

Bible Description:

The Faith Builders Bible, NIrV uses the popularity of brick-building pieces to engage children with the Word of God. Includes 24 full-color pages of illustrations plus the complete New International Reader's Version (NIrV) of the Bible in a very readable font size.

My Review:
I was extremely excited for this Bible to arrive.   If you read about my daughters 8th birthday party last month then you know all about the Lego Party. This month we had our trunk or treat at church so I kept the Lego theme going and was so thrilled to showcase the "Faith Builders Bible" in my trunk design.   It was front and center in the trunk as you can see in the picture on the right.

I know kids have many different interests and creating a Bible that is already aligned with their interests is such an awesome thing!   This Bible is NIRV and includes several pictures that use Lego's to create the image... it's so cool!   I loved looking at all the pictures and one of my favorites was the "Jesus walks on water" page.

Thanks Zondervan for sending me a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.   All opinions expressed are 100% mine and I was not paid for this review.

My homeschooled daughters would play for hours with their Legos, building elaborate scenes and then filming them like plays! We still love to watch them from time to time, now with our grandkids! :)

My Memory Suite Review and GIVEAWAY!

MY MEMORIES SUITE Review and giveaway!  (#1 rated scrapbook software)  The above is one of the scrap pages I have created.  Super easy and super fast.  I only took a couple minutes to create a 8 page photo book.  I am still going to do some more with adding more embellishments!  The below is one I created all from scratch and it only took me about 5 minutes!  :)  SO EASY!   Here is a great video explaining more about the product.  There are also tutorials available on youtube.com I am not sure if you are like me but I have spent hours online trying to upload photos to the web to place them into something I was trying to create.  THE BIGGEST BONUS to My Memory Suite is the fact that it is downloaded to your computer so you do not have to wait forever for a picture to upload! It made my experience much quicker then other programs I have used online.  The scrapbook software was very easy to download on my computer and did not take long to learn how to create.  :) One feature t

Liquid Chalk spray! Chalk Idea #7

Last week we tried out the fizzing sidewalk chalk- click here to read that review. This week it is liquid chalk spray.  They are a bit similar but yet different.  Here is how to make it: Supplies: 1 tsp. washable tempura paint 1 cup of hot water 1/2 cup of cornstarch squirt of dishwashing liquid 1 squirt bottle- I found them at the dollar store 1.  Add cornstarch to one cup of hot water whisking to mix so that there are no clumps. 2.  Add one teaspoon of washable tempura paint and a quirt of dishwashing liquid.  Mix well. 3.  Pour it into your squirt bottles and shake well. 4.  Go have fun!!!   This kept my daughters attention much longer the the fizzy chalk last week.  I also think this was easier to work with and just more fun in general.  I love seeing the chalk wet but then to see it dry.  I think it dried darker so it was fun to see the changes.  :)  Ready, Set, Go!  Have some fun! She is my little model... she kept saying "take my picture mom." She is like her
