I had a great opportunity a week ago to deliver a short message to all the students at our Bible Quiz Match.  I struggled coming up with a theme for the message.  I had a month to prepare but who waited till the day before... THIS CHICK!  I have no idea why I do that... I really had been thinking about it and several times I sat down to read and seek what God wanted me to say but I remained a blank slate.  Thankfully as I sat down the day before it just all clicked and I knew what I wanted to say.  :)  BIG RELIEF!   The youth group was going to first lead us in worship so right away I made a request for them to play "The Anthem" by Jake Hamilton.  Since I knew that song was going to be played it really allowed me to focus on delivering a message with agreeing with the many truths in that song.   So here are my notes from what I shared...  One thing that we have started doing as a church here at Living Well is Declarations. ...

A couple weeks ago I left town with the kids and my husband stayed behind.  While we were gone he worked non stop on house projects!   Here was the awesome surprise for our daughter!  It is still not complete since we do have plans to paint it and make a railing.    I know we have a little boy who is already wanting to be a few years older and wants his own loft bed.  :)   I am hoping that my husband will do a guest post on this loft!  A fun DIY post for all you moms to show your hubbys!  :) :)   Or maybe you are super mom and like to build things yourself.  :)

My sister was sneaky and snapped this picture of my son and I when we were visiting a couple weeks ago.  At first I thought the picture was icky but now I love it.  I love moments of snuggling with my kiddos...and my hubby too! The reason I love this picture though is not just because I love to cuddle and sleep but because it reminds me of so much more!   As a parent we have many choices to make.  One decision that my husband and I made was for me to not work full time and be with our children.  I do make some money on the side with a couple side jobs and from this blog so we truly have been blessed with these opportunities but no matter what, the time I spend with my kids well out weighs the money from a full time working mom.  (I know many women do not have the choice so this is not to make you feel guilty or bad)   I know I am guilty of wanting to buy my children every thing they want but truly no gift is more important then TIME.   As...
