I live in the best place ever!   I get a free car show all the time!   This particular weekend were these old cars... they were everywhere down town!   It's the little things like this that make living here fun because you never know what to expect. 

About Founder All this because I said "Whatever it means to serve you, I want to serve you" Before that very moment, my whole life was full of emptiness.  When I was a kid, all I wanted was for my parents to affirm me.  As a teenager, all I wanted to do was fit in.  As a young adult, I used drugs and alcohol to numb the pain.  As an addict, all I wanted to do was get clean.  When I did get clean, all I wanted to do was catch up.  While I was "catching up" all I wanted was MORE.  Until the very moment,  "Whatever it means to serve you, I want to serve you" About Grateful Apparel It was 2008, when Raymond Rivera was swimming in his friends swimming pool in  Orlando, FL, when it hit him, “I’m gonna make some cool tees,” he said. He walked out of  the pool, dripping wet straight into his friends home office, grabbed a napkin and started  doodling....

I know I was whining and complaining because of the new building that was being built right across the street from since I was afraid it would take my view.   The building is done and I can calm down and still find the beauty in this... no more drama and complaining from me.

Good Job Selah!   You were picked because you are a leader in your school!   I love you and and proud of you for rising up and shining in your class! 

It is happening... I have found an area that my daughter is gifted in... long distance running!   She is good at it and she enjoys it.... I am not much of a fan of running so I am thrilled she loves it.   I am going to run with her and doing it with maybe i will become a bigger fan of it!  It all started about 3 years ago when we walked up Rib Mountain in Wausau Wisconsin.   As we headed back she started running and never stopped!  Then a year ago she ran in her school's walkathon and was the top female in her grade level!    This year she set a goal to run the entire time and she did it!   She ran 24 laps which we think is roughly 3 miles in under 30 minutes!   She again was the top female runner and she tied with the boy in her grade!   I know... I am bragging about my daughter but I do think it is so important for us parents to find and help mold our children in the area's that God has given them strengths!...

That is the big smile on Selah's last day of first grade!  It proved to be a wonderful year with a fantastic teacher!   We absolutely love our school and teachers and feel blessed to be a part of it!  This year you: -Lost 4 more teeth! -learned to braid and do your own hair -read really really well and LOVE IT -joined girl scouts and enjoy it -took a track class and can't get enough of running, you are super fast and love it!   -got taller -started to write your own books -enjoy helping with cooking -very healthy this year -participated in the jump for heart  Right after getting off the bus- Officially a 2nd grader!
