I Love You "Sew" Much

This "I love you sew much" project is perfect for Valentines Day, Father's Day, or Birthday.

It was my daddy's birthday so we created this craft special just for him!

To do this we needed:
-2 sheets of construction paper- 2 different colors
-hole punch

I drew a heart and punch some holes in it and had my daughter glue it on the construction paper.

Then I gave her some yarn and she had fun lacing the heart through.

My daughter traced over my letters and we added a few heart stickers.  :)

Daddy loved it and I am sure any grandparent, aunt, uncle, or teacher would appreciated this special gift.

Riding, Riding, Riding

I have been so blessed to find so many good deals for fun stuff for my kids.  I got this toy 4-wheeler for $5 and it makes several different sounds that my lil guy loves.  :) There might be a little wear and tear on the tires but he has no clue and he loves it!

I got this deal on a facebook group called sell, swap, trade in the city I live in.  :)  I have been able to sell stuff buy stuff and overall it has been fun to meet some new people to.  :) You should check and see if your area has a group and if not maybe you could start one.  :)

Thankful Thursday

I know I have not been consistently doing this post every week...I must try harder to get this post  up each week.  I have so many things each day to be thankful for so I should be able to share a few each week.  :)

So here is what I am Praising HIM for this week:

1. God answered some prayers...not just a small one but some big ones.  :) HEALING! :)

2. Summer- this has been a very fun summer.

3. My husband, he had a birthday this week and I love to spoil him.

4. I might be watching a little boy my son's age which would bring in a little money and provide a playmate for my son while my daughter starts 4k.  :)

5. Air was another hot day.

6. The farmers market... I love the fresh yummy food. :)

7.  This blog- meeting lots of fun new people!  :) So encouraging! :)

Strung Lanterns: Children's DIY Necklace and Bracelet Set with 25% Discount Code

Beads from: Strung Lanterns

Beads are a little girls best friend not diamonds! :)  Can you picture the excitement my daughter had when she opened the cute little pink box filled with bright colorful beads of all shapes and sizes?

Strung Lanterns is a company based out of Canada.  They design and create brooches, semi-precious stone earrings and bracelets, children's DIY crafts, plushies, and other trinkets to brighten your life.
Strung Lanterns has a philosophy of: exquisite craftsmanship, easy and friendly conversations, and treasures that you can be proud to give or keep.

Thank you to Strung Lanterns for sending me these beads to conduct my review.  I was not payed for this post and all opinions are 100% mine.

My Review:
Immediately still in her PJ's my daughter had to make a necklace.  Before she started to string the beads on she started searching for her favorite beads and separated them to make her perfect necklace. :)

I hope you can see the detail in each bead from the designs to the swirls of colors.  The holes are also big enough that my 4 year old daughter had no problems lacing them onto her necklace.  The beads vary in sizes and are recommended age 5 and above.  My daughter is just under that but I supervised her and my son was not around while she created.

Imagine adding these beads to your child's next birthday party, a Christmas gift, or a nice to surprise to show your love or tell them how proud you are of them. :)

All of you lucky readers can go use a 25% off code at Strung Lanterns!!  YIPPEEE!  Go look at all the other fun stuff they have!  :) Just enter:

Bible Heroes: David and Goliath App by 4Soils *Review*

Here is a short clip to see what is included in this fun App!

What is inside:
  • Engage in integrated activities and games as you journey into David's world.
  • Help David fend off lions, select pebbles for his sling, and face Goliath and the Philistine army!
  • Read or listen to a Biblically accurate account of David's growth from shepherd boy to fearless champion of God.
  • Explore a colorful backdrop of illustrations and animations that bring a boy and a giant to life.
  • Color your own picture of David and the lion (and take a picture to send to Grandma or post to Facebook for friends to see through the Parent Portal)!
4Soils gave me a promotional code to download this App to conduct my review.  I was not paid for my review, and all thoughts are 100% mine.

4Soils is a new company that wants to combine technology and faith!  I love the idea of having some Apps on my phone that correlate to some of the Bible Stories my daughter is learning.

So when I went through the App I loved hearing the story itself, the voice was very easy to understand and not computerized. The activities matched the story and were easy to do and still fun.  My only complaint is the coloring is very hard to stay in the lines but it did offer a few different brush sizes which is helpful.

My daughter played the story and the games a couple times through and she loved matching the rocks and hearing the story.  She did get frustrated with the coloring because it was even harder trying to erase when you made a mistake.

4Soils is also creating many more Bible Story Apps so check your App Market and download them today.  :)

4Soils is also going to be giving out some free download codes so keep your eyes peeled on my Facebook site for the codes!  :)

Flower Girl

I need to go check the stores to see if there is chalk clearanced off for the end of season because we have so much fun with chalk!

My daughter wanted to be a flower so we stared to draw a flower so she could lay in it and her head would be the center of it.  :)

Simple and she was able to help create it!  :)

My lil drummer!

I have a feeling that my son is going to play the drums.  He gets so excited to bang on things.  He has a bucket outside that he pretends is a drum and when you put him in front of real drums you can see his face light up!
Look at him!  HE IS SO CUTE!  I am not sure how my ears will take that if we buy a drum set       but I guess we do have a garage.

Last Minute 4K Changes

I had one of those Mama Bear moments.  You know the moment where you are being a good mom and then you listen to your voice-mail and the message says, "Hi, this is _____ from the school district and we just want to inform you of a change in your daughters school placement" and then all of a sudden panic sets in and there is steam coming from your head.  All these questions raced through my head such as:
1. I registered in Spring and went to the first open house at the school already, where we took a tour, met teachers, found classrooms... so why a change?
2. It is a week before school starts why a change so late?
3. How did they determine my daughter has to change schools when I registered her as soon as I could?
4. Why did I bother preparing her and taking her to what I thought would be her playground and school?
5. Lord, do you want me to keep her home?

My husband is such a great man... a man of peace and a man who knows how to calm his wife.  He took it upon himself to communicate and find out what the issue was.

I prayed about it and stopped freaking out.  My daughter is very excited to go to school and she really could care less about where.  Why should I allow my stressing ruin her excitement!  God will use her at what ever school and she will be the light there!  I KNOW IT, I PRAY IT!

The school she will be going to is a good school, I know it is.  My main concern was transportation as she will now be on the bus a lot longer.

After the phone conversations were finished I just decided to hand it over to God and I trusted he would guide me.  I am very at peace with her going to this school and I hope after tomorrows open house I will be more excited about the change.

So why the change?  Well, our home-school  does not offer 4K the district does but not the school closest to us.  This week there were several parents finally registering there child for school and if they are part of that home school they first get to go to that school and that is why my daughter got relocated. Frustrating for me since I registered her ASAP and was proactive and very interested in being an active mom with my child and her schooling.

So I wanna hear about your Mama Bear experiences?

Combat Contest (ant killer) **GIVEAWAY**

The leaves may already be starting to turn but the ants are still coming out in full force.  I remember a couple weeks ago finding a whole trail of baby ants!  IT WAS GROSS, I followed the trail killing each one trying to locate the start.  Found them in my cupboard where I cleaned for the next half hour so there were ZERO ants in there.

Now my house has the Combat Ant baits out around the house to protect long tern with continuous control.  I also now am stocked with the Combat ant gel to kill ants NOW!

So what is the difference between the gel and the bait?

Combat Source Kill Max Ant Gel:
This product is formulated to effectively control ants.  That's because this product contains fipronil, a fast acting active ingredient.  Its speed is still slow enough, however for foraging ants to return to the colony and feed the bait to larvae and queens so that the entire colony is killed through the Domino Effect.
-First specially formulated ant gel
-Preferred food form for ants
-Fast killing formula
-Works within hours and up to 1 month
-Kills ants and the colony

Combat Source Kill Max Ant Bait:
This product contains an effective insecticide which kills most ants commonly found in homes.  This product is effective because ants carry bait back to where they live to destroy the entire colony.  It even kills ants outside to prevent more ants from coming inside.
-Kills ants without messy residue and without insecticide odors
-quick kill formula
-destroys the queen and the entire colony
-provides long lasting ant killing power
- Child-Resistant

Since I have children I prefer the baits so I don't have to worry about anyone getting in the gels.

Combat Bug also has a Free Backyard Bash Sweepstakes going on!  They want to giveaway $1000 to 1 lucky winner.  The winner will also receive an assortment of Combat brand product to ensure ants don't spoil their bash.  Just click HERE to go enter!  IT IS VERY EASY! Now is the time to get rid of ants and enter a fun contest!

Singing Happy Birthday to Daddy

Singing Happy Birthday to Daddy was fun for my kids.  They love their daddy so much and he loves them!  My daughter made an adorable card which I will blog about next to give you the step by step instructions.  :)

The kids and I went to JcPenny's for a free photo shoot a couple weeks ago.  I had them in superman and supergirl costumes.  :)  It was fun even if my son was not a fan and very crank during the photo shoot...he had to have his paci just so we could get a few shots in.
The framed worked looks great and it says "Daddy's Lil Superheroes"  I love it!

We also made daddy a chocolate cake and but chocolate covered raisins on it.  A bit different then your usual sprinkles but it was good.  :)

Here is to another great year for my husband!  :)

Happy Birthday to my Wonderful Husband

Dear amazing husband of mine,

I love you!  I love you more then when we were dating, I love you more then when we said "I Do."  I am so happy to be your wife, your soul mate, your one and only!

I pray that this is a year of blessing after blessing for you!  I know you are a faith leader and seeker in our family and I thank you for that.

So I hope today is a great day and this year is beyond good, great, fantastic!  God has his hand upon you and is going to continue to guide and direct you!

SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU... I will always love you!

We actually went out last night to celebrate his birthday.  We went shopping to try to find some new shoes for him but left empty handed.  Oh well!  Then we went and ate some dinner followed by some frozen yogurt down town.

It was an interesting evening down town.  As we were eating our treat we witnessed a young guy steal a pizza and tip jar from the local pizza joint.  He outran them and I have no idea what happened to him.  I hope that kid finds JESUS!

Camping Adventure with the Youth Group

My husband has the best job ever!  Being a youth pastor allows us to "stay young" as I like to say it.  We get to have tons of fun!  :)   This last week we took the group camping!  I was blessed because the kids, my self, and all the girls got to sleep in  a cabin while the boys got tents.  :)  It is getting very cool at night so being inside was a bit warmer then the boys.

We were able to go swimming, canoeing, paddle boating, and all the other campfire cooking fun.  The youth group went Kayaking but I stayed back with the kids.

My daughter was having so much fun that she was very sad we were not staying another night.  She wanted 3 nights not 2. On a different note she became so scared to use the outhouse after hearing about the "huge spider."  Partly my fault as I got scared when I saw it.  It was a huge wood spider and it was really big and scary.  I know I sound like a big baby but the thing was not jumped!  I know most of you are laughing at me but I tried to make my hubby kill it.  So I managed to make some record time bathroom trips.  My daughter held it from one evening till the next day at a gas station till about 9am.  It was well over 12 hours!

This was my favorite view, it was the morning as the sun was rising.  It was so peaceful!  LOVE

We also got to bring our dog and I am pretty sure she did not want to come home.  She did not swim much but she had so much fun running around!  :)  SHE LOVED IT!

Pinkalicious Wands- With Discount Code

PINKALICIOUS!!!  Some of you read that and have no idea what it means and others with young daughters are nodding your head because you have a Pinktastic fan in your house.

This mom is starting to plan my little girls 5th birthday party! did that happen???  Since she loves all the Pinkalicious books we are doing a Pinkalicous theme party.  I was very excited to meet Natasha from, Natasha Crafts. She sent me enough wands for each little girl who comes to my daughters party.

We are reviewing the Pinkalicious party wands.  The party has not happened but my daughter is so excited for each of her friends to get a wand.  :)  We have decided that we are going to do a glitter station and let each friend glitter their wand.  :)

The wands were packaged safely and they shipped extremely FAST!  It was so nice to receive them so quickly even though we are waiting for the party in September.  The wands are sturdy and the actual star is a thick card stock.  I love the added ribbon and I think once we add some glitter the girls are going to have fun.   I did allow my daughter to play for a little while but now I have put the wands away and she is so excited for her party.

Not only has Natasha sent me these wands to review but she has agreed to do a giveaway... A whole party pack that includes: Wands, invitations, cupcake toppers and wrappers!!  HOW AWESOME!!!!  :) I know there are a ton of little girls who would love a Pinkalicous themed party!  :)  This giveaway will start mid September after we have my daughters party!  :) I know it is a long wait but Natasha has offered a 10% discount code to my readers to use now!!  :) So at check out you can enter: SAVE10

The sweetest things surround your little girl's life: hearts and flowers, kittens and puppies, umbrellas and tea parties, kisses and hugs. But the sweetest thing of all in her life is God's love.

Sweet thoughts to think about and easy Scripture verses to remember are included with each story to connect a little girl's life to God's Word. My Review:
The Sweetest Story Bible is PINK and it comes with a CD with all the stories on it so those two reasons are part of why my daughter loves this Bible.  There are plenty of vibrant colorful pictures that she enjoys too.
I truly enjoy a couple features for the chapters.  First it starts with a question to get you to start thinking and discussing the topic with your daughter.  It also has a title and then it writes the Bible reference before the story starts.  At the end of the story it has a "sweet thought" and "sweet words" each are truth's or a bible verse that correlates with the story.  I like to take the "sweet words" and repeat it a couple times and use it as a memory verse on some days.  :) The Bible also has a cool case to keep it safe in.  Overall my daughter loves this Bible and I love reading it to her.  We read it as part of our bed time routine.

When do you do Bible reading with your child/ren?

Hmmm... the great pants debate!

Most of you know or at least seen that in all the pictures of my daughter she is usually in a DRESS.  I have been preparing her to wear pants more since she will be going to 4k in September.  She is very excited but has always been a dress wearing girl.  I took her shopping and we finally agreed on some shirts and pants.  YAY!!!

We get home and I told her to give daddy a fashion show of the new outfits.  I was excited and misty eyed because she is growing up so quickly.

Then I panic a little bit... since she always wears dresses or leggings she struggled with her zipper and button.  OH NO!!!   I have visions of her at the bathroom at school frustrated and not able to get her pants down and wets her pants.  I know foolish right?!

Looks like this mom is going to be practicing for the next week straight to ensure she can do it!!  Also, she is so skinny she needs a belt... this is going to be so tricky!

Learning Day's of the Week with Underwear

A couple weeks ago I took my daughter shopping to pick out some new underwear since hers were a bit snug.  She quickly picked out day's of the week underwear. Raise your hand if you had them when you were little, (HAND RAISED)!  I did not realized when I purchased the underwear how much learning took place with them.

Now I explained to her that it would be OK to wear them on the wrong day but do you think she wants to do that??  NOPE!!

Every morning this has been our routine...

Selah- "Mom, what day is it?"

After I respond she says, "hmmm what letter does that start with?"

Then I say the word again and sound it out.  After she gets the sound and letter right she runs to her room and finds the right pair.

So we have worked on letters and sounds and the order of days.  It is so easy to say "yesterday was _____, today is ______, and tomorrow is______.  Something that will become very familiar as she heads to 4K in a couple weeks.  We have also started singing more day's of the week songs.

Here is one that I learned a long time ago while working at a daycare in college:

Days of the Week (Sung to the Adam's Family)

Days of the Week (Snap Snap)
Days of the week (Snap Snap)
Days of the Week, Days of the week, Days of the week. (Snap Snap)

There is Sunday,
and there's Monday
There's Tuesday
and there's Wednesday.
There's Thursday
and there's Friday
and then there's Saturday

(Do chorus again)

Watch this youtube video of the song.

You never know where you can make learning fun!!  I encourage you to look for more opportunities to teach your child.  :)

Thanks to a reader, Kelli, for sharing this other christian days of the week son.  It is cute!  Check it out:

17 Months and Chalk Photo Shoot

I told him to lay down on his name and he listened!  It may have taken me a few times to get him on the letter T or even on his back.  He had fun being silly on it and that was the best part of the day.  I love his little sense of humor...except him thinking it is funny to jump off the couch.  I could do without the heart dropping as I see him jump off and land on his stomach.  Praise God he is tough and gets up and laughs and tries to do it again.  Mama's hair is going to turn grey with him...he keeps me on my toes.  One of his new favorite things to do is dance.  He does a bounce type dance that is very adorable.  He also does this superman pose where he puts his arms behind him like he is going to fly which melts my heart.  :) A not so cute thing is the early tempers that I have seen.  He stomps his feet when he gets upset and he knows how to scream.  Trying to nip these in the butt!  He is my lil boy whom is a perfect addition to this family!

Love you Lil Tman!

Sidewalk Chalk- Animal Pose-Butterfly

I had a fun time turning my princess into a butterfly.  She had fun coloring her butterfly.  I apologize for the strange shadows but the sun won the photo battle.

Now drawing a butterfly was not hard so now I am going to challenge myself and try to draw more animals since my daughter had so much fun.

The next day we went back outside and she saw her butterfly and laid right back down on it.  :)

Refreshed and Refueled= Excited April

This was an awesome weekend!!  It has been a challenge to sit down and type this post with all the amazing and exciting things I want to share and tell you!  This might be a very long post but trust me if you hang in and read it all I believe God will touch you too!!!  :)

Lets start with Friday evening! The speaker was Lori Slaughter from  The conference was called "Above All" and the scripture was Ester 2:17  "And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained favor and kindness in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti."

The story of Ester has always been one of my favorites.  I love her bravery and  VULNERABILITY.  The word vulnerability was a big word for me that weekend.  It is a great word and I love how Lori gave this analogy.  "Lord, let me wear Suran Wrap so you can see through me but I am still protected."  LOVED IT!

Our women's conference was a smaller one which made it very safe and comfortable and I think opened the door for many women to be vulnerable, myself included.  :)

The other point that was such a good reminder for me was remembering who I am in Christ.   I am "ABOVE ALL" "Valuable" "Essential" and a "World Changer."  It is so easy to forget that I am like Ester I am loved above all and have been given grace and favor.  AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME- I sure felt like a princess!

Can I also just say that if you are looking for a vibrant women to come preach at your church then Lori is your lady.  She is so full of life and energy and her personality is so contagious!  Check out her website:

Saturday morning I was so excited since one of my close friends was going to share her testimony.  I cried, I laughed, I rejoiced... it was amazing.  She did so great and I know she was extremely nervous but the nerves never shown through!

I absolutely loved loved loved her sea glass analogy, I will always be reminded of this story when I see sea glass.
Steps to make sea glass:
1. it is broken and thrown or tossed away
2. gets tossed and turned and the jagged edges get smoothed out
3. certain elements get taken out so it appears frosty
4. only light shines through

Now if you read that and did not pick up on the spiritual aspects of it let me break it down again.
1. We are broken and in our own pit
2. God gets a hold of us and our world changes as we encounter his GRACE and MERCY so our jagged edges get smoothed out.
3. The elements taken out - the icky past is gone- God removed our sins our junk our yuck.
4. We become the light of the World- God shines through us!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL picture!!  :)  SEA GLASS!  :)  AMEN

After the morning session we had some soaking/quiet time.  It was so awesome to have that time.  I love to sit in his presence.  I sometimes have so much volume from everything else that when I turn on HIS volume and get away it is amazing.

In that time I read in Philippians... I love that book!

First thing I focused on was Phil 1:6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.  When I wrote that verse in my notebook I changed it too "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in ME will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus."

The next verse I wrote down was Philippians 1:14 And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.  Now that was Paul talking since he was in prison at the time.  What I really took from it was, "I HAVE COURAGE TO SPEAK WITHOUT FEAR!"

I don't know how many times I let the enemy win and I do not give a word of encouragement or I squash something the Lord wants to do because I let me nerves get the best of me.  NOT ANYMORE!

Another thing I realized after talking with a lady was how many lies from the enemy I have believed and allowed to snowball in me.  IT WAS SO UGLY.  I know that after having my son by c-section I started to believe the lie that I was a failure, I was inadequate because I did not have him naturally.  That little lie then snowballed into so many other areas of my life and I never realized it till this weekend.  So from those feelings I started to have jealousy over some of the other women in my church comparing me and them and their gifts and what I thought was my lack of gifts.  God showed me all this but then He reminded me of where I have matured and how even at this conference I was not comparing or being jealous but I was being encouraged, empowered, and inspired!  Exactly what he wanted me to do!  YAY  So as I sat and reflected and said good bye to those silly and stupid lies I declared and told God USE ME, I am vulnerable, I am ready, I am jumping out into the bigger plans HE has for me! I will be wise and discern his voice and stomp out the lies from the enemy! I AM SO EXCITED!

So as you read that I hope you realize how excited I was.  It was like a weight lifted and gone.  I was ready to be the next speaker I was so on fire! :) LOL!

The third speaker is a lady I have always looked up to and its not because I am short and she is tall because we are the same height!  :)  I love hugging her because it is so nice to hug someone that is not a foot taller then me!  :) :)

So she was speaking on "Being in his Presence."  We focused on intimacy and prophetic.  Here are a few nuggets I loved:

1. In His presence we find out about who we are.
2. Jesus didn't die so I could go to Heaven.  He died so Heaven can get in me, so I can share Heaven with others.  WOW- LOVE THAT
3. I'm His favorite Child.  :)  YOU ARE TOO!

What keeps people from prophesying?
1. Ignorance
2. Apathy
3. Fear

Luke 11:5-13 Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him.’ And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.’ I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity[a] he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[b] a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

So when we ask we receive because Daddy God loves to give gifts!  AMEN!

1 Corinthians 14:3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.

So what are the Keys to Prophesy
1. Dwell in His presence
2. Love others
3. Body check- is there a pain in your body that someone might be suffering from and you can bring healing?
4. Focus on God's purpose- Worship him
5. Ask God-Listen and Hear from Him
6. Become a Lover of God's Word- Get in the Bible

Prophesying is for:
1. Edification and building up
2. Exhortation and encouraging
3. Comfort- take away pain or anxiety.

Next we were put into smaller groups and then paired up so we could try to prophesy.  I have done this before and my stomach would get in a big knot but this time I really was excited!

So I start praying for a girl asking God to tell me something and I get a picture and I think "wow, this is so silly"  I have no idea what it means but I was obedient in sharing it with her.  I said, "I see leaves falling on you and you are running and collecting them and climbing up in a tree and sewing leaves back on the tree."  I thought maybe she did not want the season fall to come... I had no idea what it would mean and I thought it was kinda silly.  I open my eyes and she was crying!   My jaw dropped...what did I say?  Well, this picture made perfect sense to her.  She was adopted but 3 weeks prior she found her birth dad and since has met more and more family.  So she literally is sewing leaves back on her family tree. JAW DROPPED!!  Did God really just use me??   I WAS THRILLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next I got another image for a different lady.  I saw her braiding a horses tail but the braid would come out and she would go fix it.  It happened several times but she never got frustrated she just went back and fixed the braid.  She understood it was a work related thing so again it was awesome.  :)

The conference ended and I was able to be bold and share some of the above things and let myself be vulnerable.  :) IT WAS GREAT!

Oh did I mention that my foot had been hurting for weeks and on Friday evening I kept sitting down during worship because it was painful.  At the end of the evening I stayed on my feet and I prayed and prayed and my foot had no more pain!!!  It is Monday and in a few minutes I am going to the gym because my pain is gone! :) THANK THE LORD!

So I had already had 3 messages 3 worships but we still had church that evening with a special guest speaker.  The lady who is from Wisconsin but has been all over the globe.  She currently helps in the healing rooms at Bethel church in California.

Her message on Saturday night was great and she spoke out and encouraged several people in the congregation.  We prayed for a lady's knee who reported back to me that it is so much better.  She can bend it and bear weight on it.  YAY!  NEAT!

On Sunday morning we got to meet with her again and we talked a bit more on prophetic which sounded similar to the conference.  :)  Then we got with a partner and did the same thing we did at the conference.  :)  Same thing happened, I thought the picture in head was silly but I spoke it out.  I told my friend I saw a big colorful butterfly soaring from flower to flower.  The colors were so amazing in this butterfly.  I open my eyes and she was crying!!!  Oh boy I hope these are good tears.  The night before the speaker had encouraged her by saying it was time for her to dream and to write down her dreams.  That same morning she had started to write her dreams and she wrote down that she was a flying butterfly!  JAW DROPPED... I started bawling!

Thanking him so much for using me in such an awesome way.  I want to keep practicing and staying in tune with him to encourage more people!  I have to remember to always dwell in his presence and stay in his word.  I have a new boldness in me and I do believe God will nudge me to speak up more often while out in the public!  :)  YES!!!!!!!!

I know this was a super long post but I really wanted to share all the awesome and wonderful things that took place this weekend.  :) I would love to hear any of your praise reports or some of the neat things God has been doing in your life.

I was so excited because God used me but I forgot to mention what the ladies spoke over me!  :)  It was really good and worth sharing!  :)

On Saturday the lady said "Hula Hoops" and "Child Like Faith."  I think there is more to pull from the Hula Hoops but my favorite ministry right now is my children.  I love to teach them play with them and they encourage me in my faith.  :)

On Sunday my friend said she saw  a map that was reaching out similar to the ATT commercials.  I immediately thought of my stats on my blog and seeing the map light up and seeing what new countries have found my blog.  I truly believe God is going to work through my blog in many more ways!  :)  HOW COOL!  So I have already given him control over the blog I just need to turn his volume up and be obedient! :)

Another boo boo

It was almost a year ago when I shared with you that my husband got in a motorcycle accident.  He was very fortunate and only had a big arm gash.

Well, we have no motorcycle thankfully but he did get a big gash tonight from working on the van!

He said it was a stupid mistake and he was working too quickly and made a mistake.  A big painful one as a spring came up and hit him in the eye.  OUCH!

I am thankful we did not have to go to the ER.  I called our friend from church who is a nurse and sent her a picture of him and she said since we stopped the bleeding we could put some butterfly strips on it.  So after getting it all cleaned out and bandaged and taking some Ibuprofen he went back to finish the van.

I am even more thankful that the spring did not hit him dead center of his eye...that could have been really bad!  God is doing a quick healing in him but what scary evening!  Thanks for praying for his quick healing!
